Are there any links to free map updates for the x940bt year 2017 or 2018?

I just did the update and a first thE ipod was not detected after the update but i took the battery cable off for a few minutes and the reconected it and now my ipod works again but now my app selection for pandora is not illuminated so no pandora   ,  BUMMER,  ANY ONE HAVE AN ANSWER TO THIS???

Hello folks i have the x940bt and was wondering if there is a new map update out??

2015 maps don't exist for that model, 2013 was the last year for a update. They have moved on to the new X50 platform.

DAMN!

These companies, want you to update by getting a whole new unit, they make more money that way.

Has any one noticed any new stuff in this 2013 update?

i have the 940bt and thought it already had the 2012 maps on it already?

just got this taken care of today i like it better then before

but was feaking out when the system rebooted when i changed the setting si was like OMG WTF did i do lol

I've never had a 930, and I've only had my 940 for a few days and the only gripe I have is that the street name is not usually spoken when it gives me directions. The street name of the next turn is displayed on the screen only (unless I've missed some configuration setup for it). I guess I'm a little disappointed in the POIs. On the one hand while waiting parked in a mall lot, it didn't list the older Shell gas station (that I always go to) less than a block away, but on the other hand, it did list a slew of things I didn't realize were near by. I think you can add new POI so I'm not terribly upset about it.

I have the htc vivid android and it works great with pandora and aha, the iPhone let's you use app mode and advanced app mode.

hey i was just wondering what you did to bypass ur x940bt i just went from the x920bt and i tired to same way to bypass but it didn't work for mine. It shows video until i hit about 25mhp then the video shuts off. Any suggestions thanks in-advance for ur help and time.

Hey folks, i just got the new avic x940bt installed in my 2006 gmc yukon, i must say I really like it, coming from the x930bt. OK I have paired my htc vivid (android) to the unit and I can confirm that it works in regard to being able to get Pandora, aha radio (blutooth) , also the power and audio/video harneses seem to be the same the x930bt , as the installer said he did not have to use the harneses that came with the x940bt, my video bypass also still works with the harness from the x930bt on the x940bt. OK navtek maps are fine also, I now see major buildings in downtown areas, there is now a 2d up on the maps now.

Hope this helps some of U folks out in ur buying decision.

I just spoke with pioneer and they say ther will be no update for the x930 bt to make it work with android, as far as pandora radio and some other stuff but of course blu tooth will work but not the deeper funtions like the iphone.
