Can I load this on a F500bt ?

Sorry this hasn't been outlined already in this thread.

It's the 3.0 firmware, with some mods rolled in. Obviously, it can be.

Try a different card before ruling out the card as the problem.

If that doesn't work, there's not much you can do, unless you return it to pioneer.. Also, even if it was viewable in the normal operation of the OS, which I assume is what you're talking about, but couldn't tell, even with your extremely descriptive post, there's a process to update the SD card.

If the SD card slot is for some reason truly bad, you're SOL on updating though.

Please read and understand the threads related to updating, before you even consider doing so. Please.

You're bypassing the ipod's DAC for another, then passing it through something else's, then letting to go back to analog again on a passthrough, all on a deck that is made for anything other than SQ. Good plan.

You're going to all that trouble to make an analog signal digital, then plugging it back in to an analog input?

They only way it's happening is if your EU version magically turns into a US model, unfortunately.

I'm not sure what your issue is. FAT32 can support theoretical limits up to 2TB, and a normal limit of up to 137GB. There are issues which may only a llow you to format at a max of 32GB, but that wouldn't be a problem for you.

Your issue is either with that specific card, the reader, or a driver on your PC, more than likely. I'd return it for another card, and if you experiecne the same issue, then give us a full rundown (brand of SD card, reader, operating system) and I'm sure someone would be willing to pitch in.

Does it make you feel that much better to be such a pampas a$$? I mean really? I read all 18 pages and just beacuse I need a lil help doesnt mean I or others asking the same questions deserve to be treated so rudely. FYI i did not "demand" for help I asked like a respectable person. Plus i have done numorous updates from the 2.0 update to the 3.0, to branded POI, to speed cams, and change the arrow size in the program scipt all without bricking my unit.

People, and not just you, need to read the whole thread before demanding help.

Also, putting this modded firmware on your F/X series is not a life or death issue. If someone has a question that isn't covered here, I'm sure everyone would gladly help them, but to so blatantly have NOT read the thread and just hop in there screaming that it won't work and please help does no one any good.

As a note to all future demanders of help. If you're going to do something that could potentially brick your mildly expensive piece of electronic car entertainment equipment, would it not help you to read the whole damn thread dealing with said something?

How do you extract this rar file? Ive tried winRAR, Rar Frog, 7 ZIP. and no luck. Please help!!

I have done the 3.0 and numerous other updates and mods but none with .rar files. Ive tried numerous programs winRar(trial), rar frog, 7-zip and had no luck locating the numerous files in the rar file. I just need a lil guidance on what to use and what to look for.

See my post above. If you're asking how to extract the .torrent file, you need to use a torrent client to get the file first.

If you did this, and the .RAR file won't open, you have a bad file for some reason and need to download it again.

If you are just sitting there trying to open the .torrent file with winrar still, before you respond with an obnoxious 150pt font post again, reread my last response very carefully.

any other ways of downloading this file from the first page. i can not get it to download

Sorry for the dumb inquiry but how do i un-rar the torrent file? I have downloaded winRAR, winZIP, 7-Zip and not one can i get it to extract. ANy suggestions as far as what to try or what free programs can accomplish this task?

If the two of you can't figure out how to download a file via torrent, when it's outlined in this thread at least twice, don't even attempt to mod your head unit.

I think that I will just go the easy route. I already have an iphone, but it is only 16gb, so in other words not capable of holding much music or movies. I am just going to pick up a 160gb iPod classic and Store my tunes and music on it. I will just have it permanently attached in my glove box. They are not that expensive and 160gb is sufficient

Yeah, your reverse camera is what's being displayed.

Don't have one? Go to settings and turn it off.

Yeah... if the harness you bought doesn't have all the wires, buy one that does.

There is no VSS on an F700BT, btw. There's no spot on an F700BT harness for it, nor would the unit recognize it if there were.

Did you buy it from ebay? Most ebay sellers that sell "OEM" harnesses provide a pinout/diagram of the harness..

Silly question, but did you set AV1 to ipod again?
