hey, did you have to unlock the hdd before cloning it? I had my AVIC-Z2 out of the car for over 5 years and it don't have the latest firmware. I would like to upgrade to a SSD but i can't seem to get it unlocked. first, the dvd drive would not read any media. i hear it spin up and try to read the disc, then it stops. Is there another way I could unlock HDD, like on a computer?
