  1. Thanks John,

Thx for the advice. I've read that post before and whatever else I could find. It seems like either people are screwing with people or it's just not possible. Not a lot of info out there. I'm okay with hitting OK, though if there were a way to get rid of it, it would be nice.

So will my pandora work via bluetooth? Or do I need to work on the cable solution?

    Thx.

  2. I'm a longtime member here but haven't been here in a while due to vehicle with stock stereo. Recently installed a Z140BH and have a few questions.

    1. Can I use my Carcomm charging cradle to connect to the Pioneer cable that currently goes to my Ipod with the legacy connector? The Carcomm cradle has the lightning connector for my 5S. The cradle currently attaches via USB connector to a small box which has power cables for charging purposes. Is it safe to assume that connecting to the 5S cradle USB connector of the Pioneer cable that I will be able to have charging and Pandora features available to me?

    2. I did the mute/parking brake bypass and no longer have the locked out screens, but still do have the warning message whenever I turn the car on and go to the nav screen. After reading for hours here I don't have a clear conclusion on this. Can I get rid of it or not?

    Thanks,

  3. It sounds like everybody that has commented likes it enough to buy it after the trial. That answers one of my questions.

Still trying to find out if the antenna can be mounted inside the vehicle or needs to go outside.

    Thanks,

    Steve

  4. I really want to order one from someone who has had a great experience where the seller has been up front, honest and with great service. One person out of the blue calling this guy and having a bad experience is enough for me to go elsewhere.

I really want this pioneer, but a guy I know is trying to sell me on the KW unit for a few reasons. 1.2 million pixels on the KW vs under 400,000 on the pioneer. 2 year factory warranty on the kw vs 1year on the pioneer.

I like the nav on the pioneer better then the garmin on the kw. Are these valid claims?

  5. Hey F250 Mike. Looks nice. I did my own install in my F250. Easy install and plenty of room. Mine was a Z1 though. I also used the steering wheel controller and it works great. I have xm, bluetooth, ipod and steering wheel controllers.

Only problem is somebody decided they wanted all my gear more than I did yesterday. :( Along with my gear they took out my rear window the dash and some other stuff as well.

Funny, I had a Viper alarm with the 2 way transmitter, and it didn't work. The alarm went off, but not the remote.

Now I'm bummin because the Z2's aren't bypassed yet like my Z1 was.
