I bought the CD-R55 remote along with my x-920bt and wri-p wireless remote interface

I also have the flat "credit card" style remote that came with my other head unit, which I actaully prefer over the bulky and Busy CD-R55

initially I had set the switches and it worked, all be it with limited functions(Expected)

the issue it hasn't worked since the first week of use battery voltage good @ 2.99V

tried resetting switches and slapping it against the seat No go

Also it may have been re-packaged as the battery was already installed and there was no protective film to be removed as stated in the set up instructions

anyone have one of these jewels? any tips to get it working

I've been rebated.............................. mailed on 9/14 received 10/23 and that makes this the best bang for the ($458.00) buck mod ever

this thing is badass no complaints

Don't feel bad, I was dumb enough to snail mail mine with the $erial number off the box

didn't save copys, and didn't realize I could have emailed it and saved a draft of said email

used the 06 bezel and radio cage HVAC controller lowered approx .250" opening has not been altered

used 5/8" spacers behind HVAC controller. Also installed WRI-P wireless remote interface seems to work well with my plethora of pioneer remotes,I actually ordered the CD-R55 with my unit don't like it too bulky, and too many buttons

Curious, whats become of Le "Brick" as I just installed mine using a metra GM harness

I'm just getting the pieces together, Got the 06 bezel and radio/hvac bracket

need door speakers, sub and sub enclosure,+ amp kits harness adapter etc etc

anyone do a Double Din Silverado tahoe or denali Been looking at a lot of google

my question Does the std. metra GM harness adapter provide a correct interace ? my stock had SCV volume

I undersand there's a VSS present in the stock radio harness does VSS override "bypass"

read somewhere pioneer was denying a man warranty based on improper voltage regarding dimmer or illumination

Thanks For the amazon heads up guys (OP) I'd "search" more but To be Honest I've done it for days

and I've read every GM double Din install I could find details of my afforementioned issues are fuzzy
