Ok anyone actually wondering about this....It does work. Picked up the phone yesterday and I can transfer my address book all at once and auto connects.

Has anyone tried this combo yet? I'm getting this phone and want to know if people have gotten these two to work together. Thanks.

I get that problem sometimes. I just restart the car. I have manual so it doesn't crank when I just turn the key so I can restart electronics while driving.

well....worth a shot. Good luck. But if you're battery keeps dying, try testing the alternator. Maybe it's not charging. And that doesn't necessarily mean the alternator is bad. Just something is loose and the alternator is not charging.

Hey Vtail, dunno if it's the same problem, but after my d3 install I had a battery drain problem as well. My problem was that when I hooked up the VSS wire behind the instrument cluster, I didn't plug one of the plugs back in all the way. This caused the no measure to be read by the computer, thus the the alternator was not recharging the battery. Once I plugged everything back in, everything worked fine.

On your cluster, do you get a battery icon lighting up?

I agree. Loved it with my razr, love it even more with my krazr (now I get battery signal, and my mp3 ringtones that I have assigned to specific people come through the car speakers.)

 

With the exception of the voice dial issue I think the Bluetooth module is awesome. Voices are clear both directions and the integration is superb. Best add-on yet.

How do you get mp3 ringtones to come up on speaker? Never knew this was possible. Now I must know. Please share. Thanks

Just turn voice navi off. This actuallly doesn't turn it off but it just says turns over the music instead of muting it. This is reallly stupid I think but it does do the trick. There is a menu function that I set up but now cannot find.

This is the honda navigation which is the same image but different logo. Just find an acura logo and paste it in there. I used this image for mine. I drive a wrx, so I have the subaru logo instead.

Haha....Yea I was really wierded out when I first saw it. I thought maybe I was spelling dialed wrong all my life.

I'm trying to figure this out too. When I press voice on the screen.....it does work but There is no sound. When I look at the phone it looks as if it is working but the speaker doesn't say "say a command" like it should. Therefore, I have no idea when to say the command or if it is working. I have a v3c btw. Any help would be great.

I'm not sure if it's just mine, but when going thought the bluetooth from the D3, and press log to get to dialed, it is spelled "dialled" anyone else having this problem? No big deal, but just really wierd.

I hate to even suggest this, but since you noticed it in the morning, could it be the glare from the sun? I know mine, in the morning it gets that way too. The glare is horrible and I can barely see the details. Something to consider.

Does the CD-SR100 work with the D3? THe steering wheel column. I'm thinking it will only do music. Can anyone that uses this confirm?

How do you? I have voice activation but I can't seem to get it to work. I have a motorola v3c.

While we are talking about the BTB200, can you use voice activation on it? if so how? Cant figure it out?

My D3 and the BTB200 is awesome together in my opinion. Had a little trouble in the beginning with sound but now, everything works perfectly. Crystal clear sound and everyone can hear me perfectly. I can wisper and mic still pics it up. I love it.

Apparently with the Avic d3 purchase, we are suppose to get one year free roadside assistance. A screen with directions is suppose to come up after you register the D3 on the pioneer site but it never did. Is this still offered? How do I get it?

This happened to me too. Dont' know if you have the same problem but here's what my problem was. When I tapped into the vss wire behind the instrument cluster, I didn't plug in a plug in all the way. this also caused my alternator to not get a reading from the ecu which drained my battery. After plugging everything back in, airbag light is off and alternator working perfectly. Try plugging in everything completely that you took off. This was my problem. If it's not yours good luck to you.

I am Korean and have a lot of Korean songs on my Ipod. However, it seems the text does not appear on the D3. Is there a way to turn this function on? Thanks

Yea i ran across this problem yesterday. I needed to go somewhere and wanted to know if they were open since it was easter But couldn't find the number on D3. This feature would be awesome to have. Can the D3 do this?

What I would like to do is scroll through presets on the radio using the arrows on the unit and not touch screen. It would be nice when I'm viewing map and just switch between presets instead going to the radio menu each time. Thanks

Can the D3 be in split mode in any way? I know it can't for rear view, but like radio split with map. Kind of like when the unit is "off" it shows direction and turns in the right hand side. Can't figure out if I can do this while other things are functioning. Hope this makes sense. Thanks
