Sounds like the CD drive is busted.

You could try to clean the lens but you'd have to take the unit apart. Do NOT ( as in NEVER EVER ) use those " CD Head Clean Discs" with the little bristles on them, they really f*ck up the drive.

If you do not trust yourself to do this, let an experienced guy do it or spend a lot of money on repairs by Pioneer themselves for a new drive.
