For now is it or will it be possible to hack the unit files so I can use maps from other countries using the original GPS software? Does it depends on figuring out the same dead end you're stuck now?

I've copied all the X920BT(probably the same of Z110) system files through testmode, and made it available in this link:

If would be great if somebody could try to mod it to load other country maps.

I bought this unit, and also live in Brasil (São Paulo). Now I'm stuck without any maps, so don't buy the X920BT or you will end up like me. Get the X910BT.

Another waytTo enter X920BT testmode:

Turn Power On

While holding home button press: rew, fast, rew, fast, rew, fast (or fast, rew, fast, rew, fast, rew, can't remember right now which one is first).

Screen will go black, so release the home button and wait.

To enter X920BT testmode:

Turn Power On

While holding home button press: rew, fast, rew, fast, rew, fast (or fast, rew, fast, rew, fast, rew, can't remember right now which one is first).

Screen will go black, so release the home button and wait.

Testmode will be on, with full file copy capabilities.

Tested on mine, works.

Now we just need to know which files to change.

Why not, since it's the exact same software? even the upgrade files (2.003) is named Z110, could you please explain?

Also could one also substitute the upgrade files to change ezrider.exe and add license files+maps?

Hi everybody, this is my first post.

ShortFuse, isn't it possible to substitute the ezrider.exe for modded version and add the global license file and other country maps (such as Brazilian maps), so this unit and X920bt can work in Brazil? Cheers!
