Diaftia's mod provides the hacked EzRider.exe for elevation fix for download, don't know if he changed the scripts to gps.elevation though ...

 

All of those threads are dated 2009, not sure, so I might as well not to mess with it.

 

But, if it is only simple as to change all occurrences of "navigation.current_altitude.number_text" to "gps.elevation" in the scripts and use the elevation hacked EzRider.exe?

I have tried 20 different EZRider Files and unless you change chucks file from navigation.current_altitude.number_text" to "gps.elevation" it will show Miles I have traveled over 3500 miles in the last week and it works awesome. Again Thanks Chuck.

I will try the "gps.elevation" thing later. Do you mean that you no longer need the fixed EzRider.exe if you modify the navigatemap_800-480.ui file?

From what I have experienced I don't need it. I would have to test with the non-hacked EZRider File. While traveling in Higher Elevation. I am in a low altitude area on vacation so it will be 2 weeks before I can test.

I did some hunting and finally found the answer I was looking for. Chuck this mod looks awesome I thank you. diaftia I appreciate all the work you have done also. I made changes that needed to be made adjusted font to fit and added a few minor color changes on some things if interested I will send you my fixed Data.zip as well as my image.res File that cleans up both NAV and AV with some Blue colors.

Just make sure you are using a mod that polls elevation with "gps.elevation" and not "navigation.current_altitude.number_text". Otherwise you will see no difference. whuch is located in Data.zip File. ui_pioneer\800_480\ui\navigatemap_800_480.ui I changed all 3 references and Now it works awesome.

Good to know. For the elevation fix, you have to go to diaftia's thread and download the correct EzRider.exe.

Well I done what you said the elevation fix works great except on the 3d map screen it shows up in miles.

I got everything working Awesome including my Blue Theme with this version Chuck; Thank you I do however have issue with EZRider elavation fix it still shows up as .9 Miles instead of the Actual Feet, although if I go into GPS it tells me the Actual feet of 4856'

I suggest to load my WinCE 5.0 Emulator in your PC, in which my mod v3.0 was included, as well as EzRider.exe and appropiate license files (read the simple instructions in that thread), just add one of your maps to the Emulator. If my v3.0 works in your PC, just take everything under APL2\iGo and copy them to your AVIC, that should work well. From there, replace v3.0 by v3.1.

Ok the WINCE 5.0 Emulator Worked, I then copied over your 3.1 on that and my map, pio, Buildin Files. Does the 3.1 have the Telephone Fix , and Nav Nag screen about don't operate vehicle or whatever it says. I have the Video fix and I also need the Elevation to read actual Feet not miles. since I am above 8700' almost all the time

Hey Chuck I haven't been around for awhile but I love the things you have come up with in your theme. I was trying it out on my Wife's Deck which is a carbon copy of my flach disk. seems to just reload and reboot I then took tried the WINCE and remove her maps and replaced with yours and it works great on WINCE. I think it has to do with my maps being IntegrationVersion 03.000000 Base Contents 20100120R3 and your IntegrationVersion 02.000500 Base Contents: 20090509R3. I really would ahte to downgrade all my maps to work on this. Is there any way you can help me out getting this to work.

Most all this is Your Mod I only took the Trip Nag from post #34 Off this version.

Also changed a few icons that I liked instead of the folder and I had to put my Colorado in there somewhere so I added that also. But that will not be on the Blue Theme it will have your default Icon,.

I reverted back to my old MOD. before reading this. I have a feeling by noticing my fle setup before proceding with the repair that I missed adding the VBT folder in APL2 I think this is where the Voice File was listed. I did use all your files but must have accidently deleted that folder.

I Loved the layout of your system. Looks Great

Major Issues I found. Just preference issues probably. Can you help me with when pushing voice command System mutes and I have to restart vehicle to unhang. Can't make a Voice Call or Voice change music. Also I don't see where I can change the Vehicle Size or Vehicle type. I like the 3d Vehicles to change from current vehicle.

It is easy! Just use 'selective color' to change it to the color that you want and then perform it as an action. Next just use that action on all images that younwant to change and they will all be the same changed color

I did that on the image.res file but the data.zip Photoshop will not open all the bmp files. Only opens about 30 of the files the rest say can't open

I love Abb's Themes I have the A/V Changed to Blue Chrome. Can someone Help me using Abb's NAV Mod V4.0 'All-in-One' -- Oct 24th '10 I want all the Chrome Grey to be Chrome Blue in the NAV area only meaning the data.zip file. I played with it alot but some reason I can only open maybe 30 files out of the 824 in the ui_pioneer\800_480 folder

For the image.res file I use 7z, and for the Data.zip file I use winrar

Thank you. I guess I should read more posts on my next Question but you have been so helpful it is hard to ask anyone else without getting the run around answers i have seen on here. I am wondering is there a program that can run on windows 7 that would allow me to see this in detail before running back and forth to my truck everytime I make a change. Like some kind of Emulator..

A lot of the screens will be updated as well as some of the functionality. The only thing that will remain, will be the basic Nav screen as I like the openess and clear view.

What tool are you using if you don't mind to edit the data.zip files I try to open them but say corruot but they work fine in my head unit

I am a Bonehead. The copytool.mscr I had in testmode was not the altered one. I changed it to the altered one and now it all works well.

I am completing a theme now and it looks awesome. most of it is yours and a few others just redesigned alot of things to make it more me. It is Blue and I will send you the image.res file that's the only thing that anybody that wants can have but they will have to get from you. I don't like to take things and repost as my own. I will get to you on that when completed.

I went here and saw you got it to work for you. But my case it didn't work. I have changed the tahoma.ttf 6 times different fonts same name but never worked.

somewhere i read I had to change the WINCEIMG files. That looks to complicated. I wished now I would have stayed with the FX3.1 instead of the pioneer update.

Abb1 I purchased the CNSD-200FM and di the complete install. Then I added your mods as posted only instead of Schemes I used Scheme. My Problem is I have fonts like yours in the NAV but not on the main screen or ipod. is there something I need ot do to make these fonts work there also.???
