  1. Hey,

Thanks for the reply, I am running iOS 8.4.1 but the problem is not related to my phone itself, is the head unit that the bluetooth is grayed out and I can't even reset the factory settings because it gives "error" while trying to do it, so it won't work with any phone or device. So I can't even get to the setting to pair the phone or anything. A few days ago I tried connecting the phone using carplay and after disconnecting it, for some reason, the bluetooth option went back to normal in the headunit and everything was working (without me having to pair the phone again or anything) until I turned it off again.

It is a weird problem that came out of the blue and I can't seem to find a solution, I tried researching a lot online and did all I could but without any luck.

    Carl82,

I am having the exact issues.  The bluethooth button is grayed out and when I try to pair to the radio I get Error - 02.  Unfortunately my radio is not under warrenty and Pioneer want $80 just to look at it.  Did you ever get your issue resolved?  Am I looking at having to upgrade to a new radio?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I have this unit installed in my 2014 Camaro.  I love it and can't wait for carplay.  Which dash kit did you use?  I have the metra kit but I am kinda digging the scosche kit with the touch screen climate controls.

I went with the metra kit also. I like the scosche too but I went on the camaro forums and they had hundreds of complaints about the kit interfering with the TPS and limiting the range of the key fob.

  3. I'm using an android phone and this is how I set it up. Hdmi cable and USB cable connected to USB port 2. Ran both of those to a samsung mhl adapter. Connect the phone to the radio via Bluetooth, launch pioneer app radio on phone next, then plug mhl adapter into phone. Access to aha, pandora, and other apps accessible. I lose by audio streaming for music files, but the app icon allows me to access them anyway. Making and receiving calls not a problem.

  4. I have experience with both models as my girlfriend had the x910 and her father has the x920. I like the streaming features of the x920 used with an iphone. However the x910 is not a bad unit in its own right. I would pick a model based on price. If the price difference is less than $120 between the 2 units, go with the x920. If its more, then the x910 would be my choice. Hope this helps.
