What you have is the same as an X910 so you will need to follow the hacks and mods section of this forum on how to hack and install additional maps. It is certainly possible.

My problem is similar, the difference is that I already bought the model X9115BT, hoping it can turn on the GPS maps of Brazil. The seller of a famous car audio store in Orlando / FL, where I bought the product in Nov/2010, assured me that it would be possible to put maps of Brazil in it. Now I'm with the device installed in my car and the GPS does not work ... Can anyone give me some information about whether or not it is possible to install maps of Brazil in the model X9115BT? I bought my AVIC-X9115BT in Orlando / Florida. The AVIC was installed in my car in Brazil, where I live. Obviously, the GPS is not working here. I wonder if any expert of this forum knows something about if the GPS can work with maps of Brazil . The seller of the store assured me it would be possible to put Brazilian maps in GPS ... (hacking, of course ...)

It will be extremely frustrating for me having to install another GPS device with this powerful AVIC installed in my car ...

Likewise I would like to enable this GPS to operate in Brazil, there must be other people interested in adapt this GPS to operate in other countries ...

Would anyone could give some hint of how to do this?
