Found wire hooked it up to pink wire and the vehicle diagnostics still don’t work it displays message not functional. any ideas?

i apologize for posting twice my computor was messing up.

we tried the drk-green/white stripe and the vehicle diagnostics still reads 0 any ideas? it is conected to pink wire on avicz1.

when driving car works for 200 ft then a warning comes up that it has an incorrect conection on the brake wire then the next warning that it is strickly forbedon to view video while driving and then it shuts of video we have a unit that was mfg 08/2006 so do we still need to up date this unit for the mod/hack?

is it located looking at the back of avic right top corner is this the correct hole?

checked all is good just for the heck of it looking at the back of avic-z1 what hole is it?

first make sure you didnt break the pin on the mute wire when you removed it, then make sure you put in the spot directly next to it, and mke sure it clicked in, and doesnt back out when you plug it in

I have done everything that was said grounding brake wire grounding the pin in the harness that I replaced and hit reset and it work fine for a few minutes around the block past 40 worked great and then I got the pop up and warning strictly prohibited can anyone help me out please I have searched the sight and tried all cant seem to fix this.[/b]
