Nope. If ya got some cash, ya can ditch the Sirius tuner for an XM tuner.
The XM tuner shows three lines of info.
-
In my Ford Explorer, it had Sync, so has the built in mic in the rear view mirror.
I hunted down a wiring diagram, found the wires, and tapped into it.
Seems to be working pretty good, no complaints from anyone on BT calls.

I tapped into the stock Sirius antenna on my Ford Explorer, and using it for the XM tuner. Working perfectly.
Too bad I didn't have a stock GPS antenna, or I would have tapped into that as well.

My vehicle had Sync.
I pretty much scrapped it. Used the factory Audio Input, and Usb by splicing them to the cable going to the head unit.
I also made use of the built in mic in the mirror by splicing into that near the Sync module.
With all the features of the Z120BT, I couldn't find any reason to retain any of the Sync functions.
On the steering wheel controls, Vol UP/DN, and Seek UP/DN work as planned.
I set my Media button as the Voice button to the new unit.
The other buttons appear dead, as they tie directly into Sync.
Since the buttons are simply one wire control, made by use of resistors to determine which button is which, I'm sure I can figure a way to get them all to work, with a little re-fanagling of the switch itself, but not high on my priority list, maybe a rainy day project to try.

As I was having problems finding the VSS for a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac while installing my Z120BT, I ended up calling crutchfield.
They returned my call and said the VSS is on the 24 Pin Radio harness on Pin 14 - A Grey wire with Black stripe.
There is no wire at all on Pin 14, let alone a Grey Wire with a Black Stripe on either factory harness.
There was also no Illumination wire on the harness, The harness they sent, has the Illumination wire, but on the factory harness, it's blank. I was able to tap into the Illumination wire that goes to the heating controls, and that works fine, but still having issues finding this VSS.
Speed controlled volume, and Illumination worked on the factory unit, Could this all be controlled by a data wire in the 2010 model?
Anyone have access to wiring diagrams? The vehicle did have Sync, which I pretty much scrapped, but the wires are still there, Logically, I would think that would have a VSS somewhere I could tap into.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Is there a way for me to use by factory bluetooth mic in my 2011 sienna with the z130BT?

Most likely you will need to obtain a wiring diagram for your vehicle, and cut the wires, then cut the wire for the mic that came with your head unit, and splice them together.
Im not sure about your vehicle, but I did it in my 2010 Ford Explorer.
I was able to find the wires for the built in mic that connected to the factory Sync, and splice it to the BT120.
