  1. So I bought a used 1998 Infinity i30. It came with the Avit-D3 and I love it. Hooked up the iPod cable to the back, kicking with some great songs. But alas, I want a cool background. Now, I'm certainly not a stranger to forums, google, and so forth, and I found a lot of tutorials on how to burn a disk to install custom backgrounds. I've burnt maybe 10 cd's now, 2 dvd cd's, and found out I can't burn DL dvd's. So after 30 bucks spent on cd's and about 6 hrs of tinkering, I've decided to ask for help. I'm using a Mac and I burn my Cd's with Toast Titanium. I created a folder called PICTURES and put my 10 pics in there. Perfect size. (I've been using photoshop for about 12 years.) I did one Cd with just the PICTURES folder. No luck. Another Cd with a PICTURES folder and another dummy folder to fill up the cd to about 400mb's. No luck again. What happens is when I put the cd in, it reads it. I roll over to the menu and press the green navi button, but all it says is "Please Inserst Appropriate Disk". Nothing seems to work and I've worked out all the variables. What's going on? In Toast, I set it to Mac/Pc Data Disk and burn. Nada. Thanks in advance for any advice. If anything, I'll post some cool BG's I made.

  2. I'm using a mac also and I to run Toast. I did 10 pictures and did the folder thing. I did another cd with a folder for PICTURES and another dummy folder to fill up the cd to like 400mb. That didn't work either. My D3 just says "Insert appropriate disk" when I press the green Navi button.

NOTE: I did buy this car used and the radio came with the car. Do I need to install the original disks first or what?*
