Sorry for the newbie question...and i'm sure this may be obvious for the veterans...

But i was told by many people that the F90 (non-members) can't be bypassed. It's been a while since I last visited this forum and saw this thread.

I just recently bought the AVIC-F90BT and would like to use this bypass for my new DD...

Question is...(again my apologies for the ignorance) Will this bypass allow me to watch videos/movies, enter in destination changes, and dial in numbers while the car is moving?

oh and also...i do leave my s1 on the windshield at all times, rain or shine. u guys think i fried a chip in it with the heat retained in the car?

It's been almost a week since I last used it. Turned it on with the button on top, it turns on with the map of the destination I last had it on. 30 minutes after, it still hasn't loaded up the position where I'm currently at. I turned the navi with the switch behind. Same thing, still doesn't load current destination. I used a thumb tack to press the reset button and still getting the same results.

What's wrong with my navi? I need help from the gurus of this forum. I can't live without this navi!!! All your help will be much appreciated.

note: i lost the box this navi came with which had all the disks and instruction manuals it came with.

As I tried to initiate a route this afternoon, I forgot the address of a client of mine. I knew the cross streets, but then I couldn't find a way to incorporate crossings through the address search. i truly am a newbie and would love to see if any of your expertise has a solution for this.

p.s. thank god for mapquest and a printer...i did get to go to my clients...

Just extract the files on your SD card and do an "on/off" on your S1.

but when the bluescreen does appear, i choose right away:

0=WINCE Upgrade

after that, which option do i choose?

2=WINCE by SD/MMC

3=WINCE by SD/MMC (format)

when i chose the first of the two, it'll say:

mountdisk SUCCESS!

Open CEimage...

can not find winceimg.cks

any key to continue

when i chose the second of the two, it'll just say:

waiting...

and i at least waited for 5 minutes...

what do i do oh jedi master?
