  1. What do you mean by "won't work"? When the tweak loads, I have to specifically list which apps it modifies so it shouldn't be affecting any other apps.

Did you try quitting the AppRadio app by double clicking the home button and killing it? In order for the wallpaper to load, the AppRadio app needs to complete close and restart.

Yea I tried that a few times, I still can't seem to get it to work. When does the image show up on the home screen? Is there anything specific I have to do, Or does the image need to be a certain size/file type?

    Thank you

  2. I just pushed a new version to the repo. It adds a home button for Pandora and preferences to the settings app. The only way I could get the home button working in Pandora (for now) was to override the Bookmark button. It's seems like Pandora is doing something special to display data on the car's screen so I can't draw any additional buttons. I made a separate toggle in the preferences to enable the Pandora home button in case someone actually uses the Bookmark functionality.

Also, there is a toggle in the preferences under AppRadio called "Launch Kills Apps". When this is enabled, launching the AppRadio app from the home screen will kill Pandora, Rdio, MotionX, and Inrix. I added this because I noticed that apps would randomly have trouble resizing for the radios screen (Rdio especially) if they were already running. This allows the apps to start fresh when you load up the menu.

Awsome work, keep it up man! I can't seem to get the wallpaper to work, any suggestions? The only other complaint I have about the unit now is that pioneer would leave us without an xm radio app that should have been available day 1.

  3. I have come up with one thing that may work for some, I am going to try it myself soon. My problem is I don't want to have to plug my phone in and have it charging all the time the d3 even had an option to turn off the iPod charging, what gives? Aside from charging sometimes I just don't wanna mess with my phone at all, if I could hook up my regular iPod even I'd be happy but pioneer didn't give us that option. As most of you probably know apple has mobile hotspot which means your iPhone can provide a wifi connection to other devices up to 5 I believe. It is possible to get this feature through your Phone service provider, or with a jailbroken iPhone. My idea is to have a iPod touch 4th generation in my truck at all times hooked up to the indash that gets Wifi from the iPhone, then whenever I want my iPhone plugged in I just switch to the iPhone. Still doesn't solve the problem of not having satelite radio capability. Im sure they will make it so the xm app works on it eventually which would be nice. I am sure someone will figure out how to do some crazy stuff with this unit though it seems very possible.
