Got mine and replyed to it last night.

Drove an hour to the shop only to find out the AppRadio is a "Factory Service Only" unit and needs to be sent in directly to Pioneer. Now to give Pioneer a call again and start packing this paperweight up.

I just contacted a local pioneer warranty shop today and am in the process of removing the appradio and dropping it off to them. It will suck not having any tunes for awhile, but as it stands my appradio only works about 40% of the time anyhow.

On screen buttons disappear.

Some Toyotas have a power wire in the wireing harness that powers an antenna amplifier. My Vibe/Matrix is like this.

I purchased mine from Amazon the week they were released. Can anyone tell me what my best course of action would be to get these issues resolved. Amazon or Pioneer?

I updated it once, that's the only email I've received from Pioneer about a new update being available.

Maybe it's time to start a list of things we hate about our appradios since there seems to be more to hate than love

The thing I hate most is the phone interface. The displayed recent call list, missed or dialed calls never comes close to what the actual phone shows. I can hit recent calls on appradio and it will display numbers I haven't called in months

The day displayed on the home screen in often off by a day and will correct itself every so often

My screen goes black, radio functions dead, frequently after short stops and will not correct itself until a more lengthy stop with the car shut off

The radio stations song/artist info is always scrambled as it scrolls across the screen

The AppRadio really is a great concept and incorporates the iPhone well when working correctly BUT, It's all the small things that add up that really make it a piece of ****

Sounds a bit more serious. Luckily mine will resume normal operation after having the car off for a longer period of time. However, it's a pain in the *** when your depending on it for GPS and it "blacks out" after stopping for gas or running in a store for a snack I can still use the gps on the phone only but it still sucks not being able to benefit from the appradio display and audio.

New update at AppStore this morning.

The motionX app updated recently too. I wonder if it's on their end and not iOS 5? Either way, I noticed yesterday that mine is doing the same things you described after the updates.

The new 5.0 iOS is working fine.

I haven't changed anything but I'll look into that setting.

4 times in the last two weeks my unit has frozen on a blacked out screen after a quick restart. Everytime this has happened has been when the vehicle was shut off for less than 5min and restarted. Seems to be related to the "quick restart" feature. When it happens everything is frozen including the reset button, all I get ate the volume and home buttons lit. The unit is inopp. until the vehicle his shut off for an extended period of time. Anyone else experiencing this?

My time stays accurate but my day of the week displayed will be off by a day sometimes. It eventually corrects itself after a day or two of being incorrect.

When you say "flattened", do you mean resized to fit the screen dimensions or something different?

If I update my radio today without adding new background pics, do you think i would be able to make only pic changes in the future and reupdate without issues?

I just downloaded the firmware update at Pioneer's site. There's a folder in the files which contains 2 .bmp images used for backgrounds. Does anyone know if you could, or how you would, go about adding a couple .bmp files of your own to this folder?

Here's how I use Netflix. I open the appradio app and then once it's open double click the home button on the phone so the you can scroll through the other apps across the bottom of the screen. If you opened up Netflix recently it makes it a little easier because it will be one of the first apps shown. Once you open Netflix video displays to the car while the functions are controlled on the phone. I use a toggle switch on mine to unground, and ground, the parking brake safety wire.

I found that the parking brake warning would pop up at some really unnecessary times so I ran the PB safety wire straight to a toggle switch and then to ground. Whenever the message pops up I just flip the switch.

Just saw this update show up on App Store. Pretty vague on what issues it addresses.

Went to get gas around 11:30p tonight, the clock was still correct but now AppRadio says it's Fri. 7/22 already. This makes no since to me.

AppRadio says it's Thursday again today, lol. I guess Wednesdays don't exist on AppRadio.

So I head out this morning and AppRadio shows it's Thursday on the radio face. The time itself has been staying correct.

Got it, we'll see if that does the trick.

I don't see "CT" listed anywhere under my setting on the appradio
