Ipod video's are 5th gen and newer

Do you have the 5th gen and currently works with the Avic D3?

Sorry no answers on this. I didn't go to my installer, I've been mad busy with work and our hours don't mesh. I have since had an accident and am looking to replace my D3.

I dont know how the D1 works heck I just got my D3 installed not too long ago. But IMO i would just upgrade the coast you live in unless you roadtrip... ALOT....

Yeap.. awesome communication. You'll probably have to downgrade then upgrade the system...

Maybe an error with the DVD? If you popped in the Navi disk that SWDW sent and its not working you should PM him...

I know how frustrating it can be to look online and find no info so here is my experience with my new iTouch 64 gb 3rd gen. and the Avic d3 with the pioneer ipod cable (cd-i200).

 

iTouch version 3.1.2, not jailbroken (yet ) the iPod will work with the d3 by this I mean iPod control on the d3 works, but it will NOT charge it. Next is the scosche passport I will try to get it in the weeks to come and as soon as I get it I will test it out and write my experience on here.

Yeah, im having the same problem.... what was the fix?

No one has any ideas? I'm calling my installer tomorrow. He's one of the top 100 installers in the country, he guarentees his work for the life of your car. I was just hoping it was something simple I could try.

same problem here... i just had my avic d3 installed... let me know if there was a quick fix to this.
