Just load, and was able to pick english and voice now after restart will not boot and stuck on splash screen, any idea what can be wrong

Unit updates using 3.0 files, once done reboot and still get the same splash screen that SHOULD be gone. since 3.0 rewrites all the files why is the splash screen staying(which is a custom loaded one) Ive done multiple updates and this one is stumping me. is there something I can check inside win CE to make sure the files are writing and saving? unit is staying on splash screen and not loading even after update, do the same exact update and use same sd on my avic-900bt and works fine...

Download 3.0 update and look on the forums on how to update, if you don't feel up to it eBay has sellers who can fix this for you as well

Unit has a password protect but never input one, will the 3.0 software update work from the f series forums? And if so will it take away the password protected unit?

everything from the 700 will plug into the 900bt with ease.

what kind of problems is the unit having?

ok figured out why it didn't go into boot(power source) now i am at the part where i update files, but gets stuck at writingimge 5%. any ideas? ive read this process should take about 2-3 minutes.... am i doing something wrong?

also i've loaded the SD card with the files from the thread

Boot Problems/Black Screen Fix/Restore

Just got a avic-f700bt whats having reboot issues.

I already downloaded the most recent files on a SD card, but my main problem is when i get to the test mode feature, it immediately restarts.

Also when it turns on there is no pioneer logo. just flashes the blue screen for a second and restarts all while im holding the menu and map buttons together.

Any help on what may be wrong an how to fix this please. I read through these forums for a good 2 hours and cant seem to find the answer i need to get past the "please push reset key again"
