Damn! Such simple things that work on even $80 dual players and are not working on these big units are driving me nuts

the VR doesnt work because the SD card does not use tag info to sort all of the mp3's like the ipod does, it just has them thrown in to folders and has to be found with file names. even though sometimes the extensions are cut off from being shown, the actual file names should be something like "the_howling_dog.mp3" and all of the special characters will cause problems being filtered by the voice rec.

Btw on that note do the song from an ipod fully scroll or does it still cut off the name on the unit screen?

All settings look ok to me.. I will try to delete and re-pair...

So I have my HTC Incredible connected via Bluetooth to my 930bt and calls works great. However, when I switch to the BT Audio streaming function, it says 'not connected'. When I click connect, it says 'please start conenction' and I can't do anything there. What is the right way to do this, I can't get it to work!

Since I only found out that I can't display album art while playing mp3s from an SD card after I started using my 930bt, I have decided to buy an iPod to use as mp3 storage.

My question to you is, which iPod should I buy?

I was looking on eBay and I can get an iPod nano 2nd generation with 8GB for about $50. Does anybody know if the 930bt will work well with that iPod model?

Also, how different is playing mp3s from the ipod as compared to an SD, does it pretty much work the same way? I want to keep the iPod in my glove box will I have to press any buttons / turn it on every time I want to play files or will it go on its own?

So the right process is:

- tune to desired frequency

- open preset and hold desired P

- preset is saved

930BT here.

Have you had a problem storing presets? I am having difficulty storing presets - I tune in to a station that I like, then I open the preset list and click on let's say P1. However, instead of saving the preset the unit tunes in to the frequency that was already set on P1 already. What am I doing wrong?
