I'm using a iPhone 4s with the new firmware 5.1.1 with my x930bt. Never had this problem until after updating the phone. The physical buttons on the x930bt that should skip forward or backwards are not working when using the ipod feature. Doesn't matter if I'm using bluetooth or the physical cable. The buttons do work when using Pandora or iHeart radio...or any other music app, just not the iPod. When I press the the forward skip button when using the ipod feature, the cover art for that song flashes as if it is the next songs cover art loading, but it isn't. And it never skips to the next song.
Pleas let me know if this is happening to anyone else. Very frustrating problem to have.

Same problem. This sucks. I've had this unit for a year and just getting around to adding movies to the SD card for this long road trip and can't get them to play on the rear screens. Guess I have to split them between my two iPhones and iPad. Disappointing.

After plugging it in, I opened Pandora and switched to iPod on the pioneer. Waitied a few seconds and switched back to pandora and it plays just fine.

Yeah...All the song info comes up on my 930bt, the songs just don't play continuously. It keeps pausing. Also, Pandora is not recognizing the Bluetooth. Doesn't give you an option to switch. On another post on this site, someone said just keep hitting play/pause, or switch to iPod mode for about 5 seconds, then switch back to pandora and t will play fine. Gonna try that this morning.

I noticed that it refused to go into night mode using the automatic settings (and we can't find a manual toggle on the unit to do it).
I have the x930bt installed in both of my trucks. Both have the same exact problem. Only options are Automatic/Day. No night mode. I have the orange and white dimmer hooked up to the dimmer wire for both vehicles. Very strange issue. What makes it even stranger....in one of my trucks, the manual dimmer option on the unit doesn't dim the screen. In my other truck it does which is very confusing

THis happened to me with iOS 5 beta and after the final release yesterday....the same thing is happening on my x930BT. I'm going to try the things you said this morning to get it to work. It would always pause for me. I'd tap play a few times then just give up. Hopefully your suggestions still work. I thought maybe it was due to the Jailbreak, but nice to see it's not. Hopefully Pandora comes out with an update.

FIXED: Rebooted my phone last night. This morning everything was working perfectly. Should have done that initially anyway LOL.
