I have the x930bt & upgraded my pandora and it work PERFECT now if only pioneer cld release an upgrade so my iPod wld work. On pandora after my phone links I click the little "person" and all my lists came up just the way they're supposed to. If you're still having issues I wld delete the app & re-load. I'm on iphone4 w/ios5. Just have the issue of when I switch back to iPod pandora is still playing & I have to re-select my playlist & song (doesn't pick up where it left off) but that's a pioneer upgrade issue. When I click pandora again I'm right back to where Pandora left off

Pandora released an update in 11/2 which fixed their end o the problem. U can now switch back and forth btwn pandora & other apps & pandora will pick up where it left off w/out asking you to start the app from your phone or the pause/play issue. However pioneer & aha have yet to release an update to resolve the iPod & aha radio issues respectively. So for now (after updating pandora on ur phone) if you switch off your iPod to pandora, when you go back to iPod you have to select a song/playlist again or else pandora will continue to play.

i think i asked you this on another forum link, but can u make this one for me w/a vw jetta mkiv with the pioneer at the bottom. i luv this one as is its pretty awesome & the colors r perfect 4 the jetta standard interior lights. i have the avic x930.thanks tons & tons in advance!!!!!

so 1st things 1st...im not a techy person but i know how to find what i need on the net (i paid $100 to get my unit installed & bought all the wiring myself & gave the person vids on how to install some items) I used the metra axxess xsvi-xxxx-nav unit instead of the PAC system because it recognizes the steering controls easier, less potential wiring issues, and connects to the vss parking assist.

 

2nd there is a bypass & its super simple

posted by Motorcadeint entitled "pioneer x930 bypass" (or something like that), i've been all over the freeway with it & works fine.

 

boot speed is about 13sec. Once its up it has quick response to the fingertips with natural finger pressure required (similar to an iphone/ipad/itouch.) Most annoying thing is no voice commands (not very safe) especially when scanning through the contacts. GPS is quick & responsive. Ive purposely taken wrong turns just to see how quickly it recalculates and within 5sec its had a new route up and ready. MAJOR NOTE if you have an iphone, you shldnt update to ios5 until after Pioneer has finished with the update, its got a glitch right now, nothing major but a bit annoying when dealing with apps like pandora & sometimes with the ipod. Updates are simple with a sim card.

 

Major pro its syncs with your phone and your contacts almost instantaneously, and AVIC FEEDS works great for navi, just remember dont delete the information in the 1st name line that is between the @ symbols and keep the 1st and last name of the contact on the 1st name line.

it pauses for no reason, loses the connection suddenly even tho it still says its connected, no biggie (mainly when listening to pandora), if you press ipod, it comes back on--like magic =) Then press pandora again. If you don't, then you cant play ipod music because the system thinks your pandora music is playing through your ipod instead of the app. (stupid glitch)

 

I just installed mine 2-days ago so I dont know if this next part is normal, but even though you have apps open on your phone in multi-tasking, you have to "activate" each app on your phone before the system notices it. IE if you're listening to pandora, and you want to switch to aha, you have to switch it on the HU and then switch it on the iphone. Im pretty positive this has to be due to the glitch bc this isnt safe. I think thats the most annoying thing, but everything else works fine. Syncs, recognizes bluetooth, all apps, automatically recognizes Feeds contacts, etc
