I am considering upgrading my AVIC-Z130BT to a new W8600NEX or W2770NEX in my 2008 Ford Ranger for a better handsfree experience (recent Michigan law updates). Any thoughts or recommendations for a different model? The microphone that came with it isn't the best and excess road noise/echo isn't the best.
I love the stereo and have had 0 issues with it since getting it back over 10 years ago. Would both be a simple plug and play swap or would I have to modify anything? If I need an adapter, what should I search for?
Or, if you guys think I should stick with the Z130BT, what microphone do you guys recommend?
