  1. I just did a software upgrade to my AVIC-X930BT....  Now my Bluetooth tries to connect and after about 5 seconds disconnects.  I have re-set to factory and still does the same thing.  I paired a different iPhone 6 and still does the same this.  When I look at the Bluetooth Firmware, it is 3.22.  Pioneer support says that either my Bluetooth Chip in unit is defective or I need to upgrade maps - $120.  I can send unit to them for service for $250.

Pioneer technician says that the only way to upgrade BT Firmware is to do a map upgrade.  Has anyone had a similar experience?  Is it possible to downgrade back to previous version of software?

No.  I did not back-up system.

    Assistance , please.

  2. Pioneer Pre-sales support is horrible....  I wonder how their Post Sales Support will be...  Here is my question....

If I just get into my car and drive, how much functionality do I get with the AppRadio and an iPhone 5?  Yes the iPhone is jailbroken (if that has any bearing).  I am trying to decide between the Parrot Asteroid SMART and the AppRadio 2

    Suggestions?

  3. Well... I would like to say I know how I did it, but I don't... I tried Copying Prg0 and PRG1 folders... I tried creating the PRG.FLC file.... I tried singing to it.... Attempted several other methods of appeasing the Pioneer gods.... Somehow... 1, or many, of them did the trick and she is now working.... I still have not defeated the "Nag" screen, but will live to fight another day.

  4. I have an X-930BT that I just did the upgrade to the X-940BT software on. Everything went perfectly... till I got greedy... I decided to try and bypass the "Nag" screen using the Condi's Hack... I downloaded and ran the Autoinstaller 2.2 version... not fully understanding what I was doing.... After rebooting, the system tells me the is no application error... so, right now, I am bricked!!! How do I go back to the factory install??? HELP!

  5. I managed to Brick my X930BT... Thankfully - I followed the instructions and backed-up! I was able to restore and get the system back working! All I am trying to accomplish is to get rid of the Nag Screen on the GPS after booting. Can ANYONE suggest the best way to make that happen?
