i'm sorry i at these, my english is not so good, but i need help with my appradio2, i bought an pac tr7 and i don't understand who to setup the feature 12, i really don't understand what have to do, please i need help

and the standart relay, i only confuse with the seaturing 12 setup. thanks for your help
connect red wire from tr7 to accessory, connect black wire to ground, then use brown wire to program the tr7. you touch the brown wire to metal and the tr7 will light up, do this 12 times for mode 12 and then there is further programming to be done

works well, retimed it to do 4-6-8 instead of the 30 seconds for my appradio 1.

on a good side, your leather looks pretty goo for a 1st gen!
this method will definitely work for it, buy i dont know if it is required, some of the AVH models just need to see ground after powering up (a relay triggered off of amp turn on will do on a lot of those models)
yeah, the climate controls were attached to the dash kit for the stereo, so they just smashed and grabbed, got my alpine amp from the trunk too.
when i googled it looked like there were a bunch of micro bypasses for that unit or using a relay, so since i still have the tr7 and relay in there figure id just keep it in.

my appradio got stolen so upgraded to the p4400bh, im assuming the bypass method is the same?

Update: so I got bought a switch and opened up/removed the glovebox so I can see where the wiring is.
It is to my understanding that I need to connect the ground (black) and the handbrake signal (green). Is this correct?
When I opened removed my glovebox, there were a lot of grouped cables and a green one connected to some kind of bolt. If anyone's got any idea what this is, I'd love to know lol...
the green parking brake wire may have been grounded by the installer thinking that would be enough to bypass the signal, but this unit requires a double pulse so that wont work. unbolt it and attach it to the switch, then take a new wire and attach it from the switch to that bolt (or any metal ground really) and it will work when you flip the switch on-off-on

this is probably an appradio software issue over the appradio extensions itself but just thought id mention it. ive updated both appradio app and appradio extensions to rc4, while playing pandora a popup will make the screen go black on the appradio. bitesms pop up or notification center pull down is what i did and experienced it with, after closing said popups pandora would show up again.

I'm actually useless and don't understand many of the terms, but what I have gathered is that I need a switch. Or a grounding switch? Something like that. Thanks though!!
that is one way to do it, get a simple 2 prong switch of your choice, connect the ebrake wire to one of the prongs then connect the other prong to any ground source and that switch will work as your ebrake to send the signal to the stereo. the more technical way would be to program and install a pac tr7 which sounds like you wont be able to, there is also some micro-bypass little device that would work but i havent looked into that (more info in the bypass thread near the end)

im installing the sph-da02 in my wifes car....i bought a tr7-pro to do the bypass, but it programs much different than the regular version.... does anybody have any info on how to program this unit ? ive tried searching the forum as well as youtube....and im just coming up short. :-/ any help is very much appreciated.
i believe you use a computer to program the pro via usb, just from the pictures ive seen and little ive read.
ive reprogrammed my tr7 to times of 30-32-34 and it works very well with my sph-da01, didnt work with the first screen where you choose language after you reset because the stereo isnt initialized yet but every time since its been good

I didn't say that and you know it. I said you were making the system more complicated and expensive than it needed to be.
i prefer the relay+pac tr7 just because i dont have to do anything and it will automatically bypass the brake. i dont switch from mode to mode i just go into ipod, or into app mode if i choose to go into that for maps or other apps.
for the da100 you dont need the relay and can just use the tr7 with mode 17.
while to you your way is more convenient, that isnt the case for everyone and there really isnt any need to argue about this.

Can't find the beta 1.9.9-3. in Cydia ?
its on the first page of this thread, install with ifile, terminal, or put in cydia autoinstall folder. could also use putty from your pc.

Has anyone updated the text to an English Version of this Firmware ?
when you install it you choose english, french, or russian, on the latest version for 2.63

Is it necessary to have Pioneer's external gps modul in order to run appradio plus, or can it be run using iphone's gps?
i do not use the external gps antenna and mine works well

i think pandora wont show up in your appradio apps area is because it is on the main page of your appradio 2, but just a guess

Where is the option in appradio+ to remove it?
you just install it and it will automatically push ok as soon as it loads by default, if it doesnt like mine did then you reinstall it and then it will lol

No settings need... Just install last firmwar 2.63, reboot and install appradio plus 2.63 and reboot, the first start you choose language and press ok for warning message, after turn off your car 5 min and start appradio no need again to press ok...
Only for appradio 1
i do have the appradio 1, sph-da01, i installed it and it didnt do it for me. guess ill try to reinstall and see if that works.

posted in the thread about the warning message but will post here as well to get more help. about skipping the first OK screen i cant seem to get it to work? i installed it and went to setup, saw the message about wait time for ok message and assumed that was it but could not get it to work. tried 0, 1, and the default 1000 and didnt work at all, latest 2.63 version

it is turned on and appears in the app radio "app" list but when i launch it, all i get is sound.
is video out enabled in the appradio ext settings?

nope, only the brown wire is used for programming, to set for seconds it will flash 1 time for minutes, do not pulse, it will flash 2 times for 10 seconds each, do not pulse, then it will flash 3 times for seconds place, then pulse the amount of seconds you wish to use.
if you have an appradio 1 you need to use at least 30 seconds due to the boot up time, i had changed my times to 30-32-34 and that worked for me on mine (although the first time it didnt due to longer start up time when i had to select language it worked fine after that)
