  1. That is honestly the most user UN-friendly UI feature I have ever seen. I can't believe they don't make it go away on its own after a couple seconds. It's often more of a driver hazard to try and accurately press that tiny button while driving. If you can find a way to remove or bypass it, I think you would be doing a great service to this community.

On a side note, thanks for all the great new finds you have posted here. You have almost single handedly breathed new life into the hacking community for these units!

    second that (virtual beer)

  2. no you dont just edit all the instructions

    1. do you have USER\PRG.FLG file present on your system?

(if so your unit boots from PRG1 folder, otherwise it boots from PRG0 folder)

You can try taking that one, editing it and putting it back in place and trying it. It might work, it might not. Just make sure you take a backup of all the files you are replacing, so you can restore them if them if you mess things up...

Thank you Pionara, that did it my unit was indeed booting out prog1 dir. I flashed that file and was then able to upgrade. First thing I noticed is that AVlink option is gone :)

    thanks again

  3. ismail, what model and what software version do you have?

Please check that you updated to latest version for your model first.

You cannot just change anything that matches. It needs to be that instruction in a specific place within the code..

    Hi Pionara,

Its a x920bt that was upgraded with cnsd210 earlier , so platform version 3, How can I go about figuring out where that check is?
