Hey. I entered the hidden menu recently on my N3 and saw that there was an option to change the region lock.

 

To Access the menu (taken from another thread thanks to JAvicN2):

 

REMOVE DISK

 

HOLD RESET AND EJECT

RELEASE RESET BUT HOLD EJECT

SCREEN WILL GO BACK IN AND OUT-THEN SAYS PLEASE PRESS THE RESET BUTTON…DON’T

THEN WITH JOY PAD PRESS …

UP,RIGHT,UP,RIGHT,DOWN,RIGHT,DOWN,RIGHT…THEN OK (JOYPAD BUTTON INWARDS)

PASSWORD SCREEN WILL COME ON SCREEN BREIFLY

TEST MODE SCREEN APEARS-CLICK JOYSTICK TO RIGHT ONCE

 

BUTTONS

 

OK = JOYPAD INWARD

BACK = JOYPAD TO THE LEFT…NOTE THIS WILL BRING YOU BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGE

BACK = BAND BUTTON ….NOTE THIS WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO THE MAIN MENU

 

From here I believe the option was on the last screen number 5 or 6. It will say Region Lock.

I have the same problem guys!

My friend sent me from America a pioneer avic n3 unit but i can change the Region Lock!

The unit can't read the greek maps from my cd and can't find the greek channels from FM!!!

Please help me
