Very well explained and detailed guidelines.
Lately I've been doing a lot of up- and downgrading on my system. Right now I'm on the ver. 4.01 hybrid from pionara. My problem is that the system can't recognize the maps from Bento. Also tried with ver 3.01 with hacked ezrider but same result. So I'm going to try with your complete backup.

Great work.
Will download tomorrow.
Did it work on your unit?

Great offer from trulf
Are you uploading davenfish?

Maps now load with the addition of an additional Pioneer licence, thanks to Overball3
Could you possibly post the LICENSE files?
-
Thank you,the new folders are working fine in my AVIC F910BT
Just a remark:dont erase the old license file but complete it with the contain of the new one!
Congratulations!
Hi trapier
Did you copy the content of new LICENSE folder in to your old LICENSE folder? Or complete in some other way? Can't access the maps as described above, must be a problem with the License?

New rar-compressed files works, thanks.
Tried to install the new maps:
1. Not enough space on the flash drive - removed some maps and voices and squeezed it in.
2. Unit starts up, everything seems ok - but no MAPS..
3. Only Albania, Andorra, Austra, Belaruze and Belgium maps are registered.
4. Removed these maps and left only a few ones that I need, but then the list in settings is just empty.
5. Removed old LICENSE folder and insertes the one from this update, result: unit goes in to reboot loop.
6. Combining old and new LICENSE folder: only the above mentioned maps are available.
Is it a problem with the license? What should I do?

Great work
Followed your instructions and now my F900 is back in business.
Only problem is that the fix seems to have changed the "product device number" of the unit. This means that I can't re-install my cnsd-300fm update since it's locked to my "old" device number. Really weird, thought the device number was unchangeable but apparently not.

Great, thanks. Definitely going to give it my best try. I'll report back..

Like other users I can't decompress these files. Tried different programs for the job but no luck. What's the procedure? Do they need to be merged before decompressing?

It's an NZB file to download the maps from Usenet.
I have found newer maps last night TA 2012 Q2. I installed Firmware version 4 on my unit with the Windows CE upgrade and those Q2 maps. The unit feels a lot snappier and my speedcams and POI's are working again
Will post later this week.I still need a Dutch sys.txt because the navigation part of my AVIC is now in English.
Hi Bento,
Had any time to upload the Q2 maps?
Kind regards

Hi, do you ship to the EU? How much should I add for shipping?

Solved it, seemed to be a defective sd-card

Hi tail24
Hope you can help me on this one. Got a Euro system (f900bt) with the reboot problem. Tried your basic fix only with the files from the other topic with the euro files. Partly solved the problem, the system would hang on the splash screen on every startup. But inserting the cnsd300 firmware upgrade sd and then restart would allow me to enter the system, audio and everything working only no maps. Since the system wouldn't allow me to do the cnsd300 upgrade (got the message that this upgrade was already finished) I decided to start from the top of the process with upgrading WinCE and 2.0 firmware as suggested in the euro thread. Then everything went wrong. Choose the "upgrade winCE (format)" option but the system crashed just when it has reached about 100% reading. Now I only get a black screen on startup. No splash, no reboot, can't get the system to acknowledge testmode or firmware upgrades. Every time I access the blue screen in setup mode it restarts after about 10 seconds. Impossible to do the winCE upgrade since it just crashes after 10 seconds. What can I do?

Just installed the backup files from trulf. It works fine, thanks!
It's not the NAVTEQ2012 maps as in Bento's original post however. It's 2010.6 maps, exactly the same as in the official cnsd-300fm update. But that's still a lot better than the 2009 maps I was on after I restored the unit from a reboot loop due to corrupted files.
How old are the speedcam data in your backup files trulf?
