im sorry dude, maybe im still doing something wrong... i have follow page 10 and i have copy speedcamupdate.spd to a usb, just copied. when i connect the usb in the unit and start syncTool, my usb get re-build and nothing happend, the speedcam folder is gone. what do you think?
thanks
You should not start synctool after connection with your usb-stick.
After starting your unit you must connect your usb-stick which you did prepare as it was described on page 10 from ASD255 to USB1 from your unit,
After a short time your unit will reboot into the testmode.
At the menu point File Maintenance you can enter the Filesystem and navigate to the folder speedcam from linuxroot to copy the SpeedcamUpdates.spd into this folder.
The filename must be exactly written as i did it.
After this you have to disconnect your stick and reboot your unit.
Caution, do not erase anything to prevent a brick of your unit.
If you are not strong in managing filesystems let do this better by an IT-specialist.

how can i install new maps and speed camera on my new AVIC-F70DAB... can anyone help me with that...
thanks
Hi,
first you have to look at page 10 where you can find a tutorial to enter the filesystem form your unit.
Then you can copy your e.g SpeedcamUpdates.spd from Poibase into the folder speedcam from your unit.
Enjoy !

Look at NEX-Series/the AVIC Development Mod on page 10.
