Ok. I got it to work. I just loaded up 3.0 like I was doing it for the first time. Everything upgraded fine. I will hold off on 3.1 until I am a bit more brave.

Can I just run the 2.0008 Software like I was going to do the upgrade again and will the deck go back to normal?

So I copied the files over and followed the directions, but now my deck goes to the Pioneer start up screen and then shuts off. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this deck goes on sale soon.............

I know exactly what you are talking about man i had the same minor head ache and its just a smple fix more so than i think anybody imagines. So the direction of travel does not move in 2d mode, and in 3d mode its almost as if your flying kind of around the streets lol so what i did was im not sure what its called but in 3d mode if you tap sort of to the right on the nav menu it allows you to adjust the like height control of the it. So just press the arrows until the 3d mode like completly over and inverted on your arrow and hot diggity dog in 3d mode you have it just like you wanted lol i know my directions are hella funky if you need images man id be more than willing to take some to help ya out ... i dont know why ne body didnt post this maybe they did already but it works for me everytime and i love how my pioneer looks now its a great unit .. hope this helps

You totally lost me with those directions.

I looked into this awhile back and they do appear to be the same, but the bypass is different. Now that doesn't mean you can't use the D3 harness on the 90b. I mean you could but who knows for sure what pins go where on the 90bt. Here are the pin outs for the D3:

Ok so I think I have read all the DIY's on installing this deck in an 08 Rabbit. I have purchase the needed harness,antenna adapter, and cage from enfig. My question now is do I need to run any wires to anywhere else in the car or does the harness have everything in it. Someone told me I need to run a wire for the ACC and dimmer. True or false? Also where are those wires in an 08 rabbit to tap into?

I totally love my D3. I tried both the 900bt and 700bt. I will never go back. D3 for life baby. What a total waste the newer decks were.

The D3 does the same thing for #8 though.

 

There was a setting that you could change to where the music wouldn't mute when the navigation lady spoke.

No way. Please elaborate as to where I can find this setting.

Looks like I am still under a rock over here ... I visited 6ave.com and the f90bt was somewhere near 9 bills . How does one get the f90bt for $598.

Shouldn't the price of 700 be $400 anyway? That's $150 off what you can get 90 for. It's a good price but nothing to write home about.

150 off what u can get a 90 for on ebay with no warranty. as stated, this is an authorized dealer with what sounds like a good warranty. this is probably the best deal going for the 700 and i can't imagine it will get any better than this
