im in new york and theres a new station 87.7 . i tried getting to it and the lowest it goes is 87.9 is there any way of adjusting it and recieving this station????????

ya same with mine i wanna listen to pure 87.7 but lowest my d3 goes to is 87.9 .. sucks :\ at least i got bpm on xm.

I ordered mine 6/13 around midnight, received 6/14 around 10am. One day from Jersey to California.

I ordered mine from Compuplus and got it in less then a week. That was with ground shipping, now NJ is only one state away so that is no surprise.

 

If your having issues you may want to check your order status on their website to make sure they did not have trouble processing your credit card or something. My order got delayed a day or two because I gave them the wrong phone number at checkout.

ya i ordered from there and got mine a few days later. also had the problem because of wrong phone #. I would just call them after you place your order to just verify the # make the process faster.

no need for iso.. just burn the jpegs in the folder PICTURES.. simple as that then go to backgrounds and click import from cd

Nice price from a reputable dealer! I just oredered from Compuplus. I was hesitant to do so because of their bad reviews on reseller ratings but it seemed from most i've read on here the only problem was ordering expedited shipping and not getting it any faster than normal shipping so I went ahead with the purchase. Still crossing my fingers until the unit actually arrives! Probably would have ordered from Crutchfield if I had seen your post before clicking the submit payment button!

I hope so! They sent an email today saying there was a problem processing my order, wrong phone number on my bank account or something, menawhile the two other orders I placed with the same credit card at the same time have already shipped and are on there way.

 

I can't install until this weekend so as long as I get everything by Friday it will be great but so far no tracking number or anything and they have already charged my credit card. I will update when I recieve the merchandise!

OH they did the same with me they had the same problem... BUt thats good they keeping identity theft down... i gave them my cell when my bank has my home #, but u will be fine all i did was just call them.. cuz emailing takes forever.

well with the help of someone whos smart with phones i figured it out...

a lot of you may know this already but for those that don't.. for those that have verizon, verizon blocks obex and the transferring of anything sent through bluetooth except for phone contacts through a certain way..

If you have a D3 and a verizon fone. make sure your fone is connected to the d3 and click on transfer phonebook. This will disconnect your phone from the d3. After that go on your phone under CONTACTs and go to the contact you wish to send then click Options>send Vcard .. after clicking send vcard it will open up all devices that you have connected through bluetooth. Just click on the d3 device and it should send it. You have to send your contacts one by one.

hope this is helpful to the ones stuck like i was.

ya verizon supposely restricts anything sent over bluetooth from what motorola said over the phone today...

it shouldnt matter what format it is . EVEN tho i used a cd-r .. make sure on the cd-r there is a folder named PICTURES in caps.. and in that folder put your jpegs.. to be safe forget the dual layers and dvds just burn it on a regular cd-r

ya i know probably a noob question, but i looked in the manual and saw nothing how to enter and save a # manually .. saving a # as in puttin the # in and naming that #.

i know when you make a call it goes to your call history and you can save it to a preset but idk how to save it with a name either. I just want to be able to click on phonebook and see a list of the #s i usually call.

The BB i used to work at would, and the CC I currently work at does. The system goes to the service center, and if they find no problems, customer gets it back with a bill for $25 for the test. Not to mention you still have to deal with the no lemon policy first. Which says the system must be repaired at the service center 3 times before a replacement is made.

oh damn ur right theres a psp on that system not prp ya soo ya u have to get it serviced 3 times b4 u get a new one... unlike a product replacement plan where we just replace it ..

i think places like best buy and circuit city the extended warranties are worth it.....there is no sort of trouble shooting with them generally if u bought a 4 year extended and say 3 years down the line pioneer comes out wit a shyt load of new upgrades to this d3 model if u take it in to best buy and say yeah im not sure what the problem is but it shuts off intermittently theyll either give u the new equivalent model or everything u paid for ur d3 towards the next step........but then again thats ur call

i work at best buy, and it is sad to say but he is right lol buy the warranty and if the new model comes out within the life of the warranty you can just lie and get the new model or put what you paid for your d3 towards the new model and pay the difference. When its busy if you say your d3 turns off randomly we are not goin to waste time and try and see if your lieing or not.

if you read or even went to your d3 and went to system backgrounds and tried to "import" it clearly says burn images on a cd-r and make sure on the disc there is a folder named PICTURES and in that folders put your jpegs in there.

Well, i just got my new d3 , bluetooth, and ipod adapter installed.

Misfit installed it for me. And i must say i havent felt this happy since i got my first video game system when i was little.

First off Misfit answered all my PMs and questions i had about the install and was very informative. We set the date and time for today at 10AM

I was a little skeptical hiring someone i don't even know and just going by what people said, But when he showed up 10min early i felt a little more comfortable. Matt (misfit) is the definition of what a true professional

should be.

Not only is he a good guy and easy to talk to, but during the whole install he explained what he was doing , so people like me would be in the "know". I couldn't ask for anything more in an installer.

He installed the d3, bluetooth adapter, and ipod adapter within an hour and a half.

After the install Matt sat with me and explained how everything worked, helped me pair my phone which we had a problem for a few minutes, but later figured it out. Overall I am happy where i invested my money with an installer.

I suggest and RECOMMEND all of you that live close or in NJ to use Matt as the installer. Great guy and did an awesome job.

its really not if you think about it. what you guys have to understand is that when you buy the unit from someone other than whose installing it, they are losing the "mark up" money. so they want to try to make up for it somehow. for example, when i sell a d3 to a dealership, i charge them $1,200 installed. which is fair if you consider crutchfield sells the unit for $1,000. so its only $200 in labor which includes the dash kit and wire harness. now when one of you guys here on the forum who shopped all over onlie and ended up paying about what i pay for it. when you ask me to install it, it kinda sucks because theres really no money to be made on it. to help out fellow forum brothers here, i have been charging $150 for the d3 and depending on accessories it goes up from there. its not the money i should make on such a job, but its better than nothing i guess. so dont think guys are ripping you off trying to charge up to $400. they're just trying to get full boat. anything over that is probably too much.

Misfit your not losing im sure installs you have done they have told their friends and recommended you. I know me i have 2 friends that want to buy the d3 soo i will def be recommending you to them once you do my install on saturday... soo make sure you bring a business card if you have one.

i ordered the bluetooth adapter from compuplus yesterday with ground shipping and its already shipped should be here by 2morrow VERY NICE!!

Price at Compuplus dropped to $699.99 today. I ordered mine 3 days ago but it took a few days for them to confirm my shipping address and credit card info. Its been approved now but still has not shipped. I asked for price protection on the $10 but have not heard back yet. Phoning them is impossible, they seem to only respond to emails but takes about 24 hours for their replies.

i spoke with them on the fone 3 times... hmm 699.99 DAMN
