  1. Upgraded my 920bt to 940bt with the super easy method. Very smooth and easy process. Only question, bluetooth firmware showing 3.1.1 and the update button is not lit up to press to update. Sd card was still installed. Everyrhing working correctly just want most recent updates. Also still on 4.0.0. Is there anything else i can do.

  2. Maybe it's working, and you need to go in and select your station?

I had the same issue, it just sat there, and I was like, WTF?!

Then I hit the little dashes, and my two stations I have on Pandora were, there, selected on, and BAM! Good to go.

Maybe it's just a little UI type of thing? Touch the dashes, and see if your channels come up!

Sorry for the long delay but yeah thats the mistake i made, silly me. I relized i had to click on the screen to pull up my stations. I thought that the station list would automatically pop up. I touched the screen just to see if something was frozen and sure enough it worked..................btw, i live in a city where there is no 3g but it still works great. A little longer loading songs/stations but works great. Dont think i will ever do sirius or xm now that this works. I know iis off topic but i think backup camera will be my next little project/add-on, any advice??

  3. Does the iPhone display an error of any kind? Does the AVIC show Pandora as a source? Have you tried rebooting your iPhone?

  5. Guys i want to upgrade from 3.0 that i purchased to the 3.02 on pioneers website but read that i need 3.01 first. if this is true can someone post it for me. also in i file the same way pioneer has 3.02 listed so i can just transfer to sd card, plug in, and turn on nav. If i dont need it please explain how to jump to 3.02. I already tried it and when i started up the nav, nothing happened. Thanks in advance!!!!

  6. I'm pretty sure that it is the bypass not correct. I upgraded my wiring harness from the regular ford one to the PAC harness, c2r-frd1, I believe. The bypass was working with the first harness and all I did was disconnect ground wire from old harness and connect ground wire from new harness. There new harness does have a wire for the brake that I did not connect, does that need to be added to the other wires I have grounded to make it work?

  7. Hey guys,

quick question, just hooked up my f900 with the PAC interface cables in my 2008 Sable.

Install was a snap. Did the bypass and can access navigation while moving but for some reason can't get into nav settings and system settings. When I hooked it up last night I was able to go into them, but on my way to work couldn't. They are in settings menu but not lit up.

    Any ideas????

  8. It will fit perfect. I have a d3 installed in my 07 chev new body style. I'll post a pic this afternoon when I get off work. And you don't have to dremel at all.

    hey,

if you dont mind read my thread about installing one of these in an 07 yukon. Please provide me with any ifo you may have and also what features you have in your vehicles as far as factory. This will make more sense after reading my thread. It a few down from this one .

    Thanks,

  9. Hey Guys,

Got all the parts today shipped from crutchfield. Wired everything but did not install it yet. Just got done about 15 mins ago, waiting for daylight. Few questions however. First the Gmos LAN adapter only has RCA plugs for the speaker leads, so I plugged them into the Front and Rea Input RCAs coming off the D3 harness, is this correct. Second there is no separate wiring for the factory sub, so will i use the Sub control through the deck. ALso, there was no lead for the rear dvd, so im hoping it is separate from the harnesses and plugs directly to the factory deck via RCA, so I can unplug it and plug it to the D3. Please provide any more info on this, Im a bit frustrated as it seems im losing quite a bit of the features by going with this unit.

  10. Hey Guys,

Well i received all my wiring/kits today and wired evrything up. I did not yet actually put it in the yukon yet. Just finished with the wiring end. I do have some questions, though. First, the GMOS Lan 02 harness only has rca plugs for the speaker wires. I hooked the corresponding RCA wires to the Front and Rear Input RCA plugs coming from D3. Will this work, Im afraid to cut off the plugs. Second, there was no specific feed to the factory sub like in the F150, can I use the sub controls within the unit or will the sound just blend together. Im really concerned that this install may not be the best option. Wondering if the factory Nav is the way to go. I of coarse will hook this up tomm after work before deciding. Also there was no wire coming off the GMOS for the Rear DVD, so Im hopin it is separate from the harnesses and is an RCA plug so it can get plugged right into the D3 harness.

Any feedback on this please post

  11. Bought all the goodies from Crutchfield. GMos adapter, steering wheel adapter, mounting kit and antennea totaling $242. Should have it on Wed an will do it that night. As listed in subject line, I have an 07 Yukon with Bose, Onstar, Rear DVD and steering wheel controls. Hopefully I can use my factory XM antennae with the new tuner and also hope I can use Rear DVD screen. Will find out once stereo is pulled. I will continue this post once everything is in and unning. Already had this unit in my last vehicle 06 F150 that I just traded on the Yukon, so n con concern on the D3 end, just a few on the vehicle end.

  12. Thanks for the response. Still looking for more info on this vehicle. I want to keep the steering wheels controls, rear entertainment and already did some reading on the adapter i need for chime/bose/onstar. The rear dvd system uses the factory stereo for the dvd player. Will i use the d3 to play the dvd then be able to show it on the overhead screen.

Again anyone with info on this or info on where i can get info please let me know. My $1000 investment is just sitting in the box waiting for me.

  13. What do I need to install the D3. Trading in my F150 for the Yukon. It has the CD/DVD stereo with Bose and Rear entertainment. Want to know what hernesses, wiring etc to make this work with, Onstar and Entertainment if possible. Thanks in Advance!!!!

  14. hey guys,
i have a question . i have the d3 and used my bro-in-laws ipod. it worked perfectly as soon as i plugged it in. we then tried a movie that he had on there, first the screen showed something about using ipod to control video or something about that, which i already knew from reading on this site. after messing with the settings, we got the screen to show movie. the problem however is i cant get the screen to go back to te ipod interface. when we turned off the movie that black screen stating about controlling video directly through ipod is still showing. i even disconnected and reconnected the ipod and as soon as i select ipod in the av menu, it goes to the black screen. anyone know how to get back to the interface screen and also how to prevent this in the future, as i am real close on grabbing an ipod.
