hi mike new firmware has just been released for sph-da02 (fw 4.17). they say to make it ios7 compatible.

i'm still on ios 6.1.2, and i have no intention to upgrade mi iphone 4s. 

the unit, on the other side, really needs some better coding. 

do you think i'll get any advantage in stability and overall perfomance of the unit itself making an upgrade to fw 4.17?

do you think they just fixed the ios7 compatibility?

almost 1 year with the same firmware(4.16)!! any news?

Whatsapp notification works great running musixmatch player in landscape, and springboard is well shown on appradio when receiving incoming phone call !!

Beta 14 is great for 4s, sph-da02, app 2.3.0

I confirm it's fixed, thank's again, the touch control is well calibrated

beta 10 was last best configuration for me.

there was no resizing issue and the touch calibration was perfect.

after updating to app 2.3.0, and obviously beta 12 (thanks again mike), the touch calibration is lost.

going back to 2.2.0, beta 10, touch calibration is lost, too!

i think the uninstalling process in cydia left some system file 'in'....

i reinstalled beta 10 with ifile.

anybody experienced the same?

same behaviour for me. (resizing issue).the screen is scaled down a bit on some app.

+ Ios Keyboard calibration is loss with whatsapp

Works good but sometimes the screen is smaller with the triangles on the side. Makes the the keyboard calibration off for me. Also music widget app used to work now it crashes the phone only when connect to app radio. Anybody know how to put a Siri icon on their home screen.

Beta 10 had no screen resizing issues. I use sbrotator to rotate spring board and apps works well but when springboard launches the phone rotates (activator when plugged in) but on the app radio it's rotated but vertical. I have to launch the music app to rotate the springboard to landscape.

Mike, don't you think it will be possible to change the diagonal instead of cutting ?(top/bottom or left-right)?

....just to share my experience with appextension, i've found this version (the latest 2.0.1-173) more stable than the previous one, no one crash! never! but the screen is scaled-down a bit in non supported apps, and all the ios system UI.

I have only got full screen for waze and carmediaplayer

In my opinion there's no need of the two black bars to work as an home button, we have already got the unit's button.

I would give priority to full screen.

I think once you hit the disclaimer, pioneer will never let anybody give them any responsibility about it, pioneer is free from it...

Plus, there is a plenty of thread in this forum about "skipping warning message" and "bypass handbreak issue"....so, come on!

i found carmediaplayer good in funtionality, but very essential.

it just gives you a cover, song name, obviously, author, and the timeline, but no lyrics.

poor.

i like the sliding library of the iphone's landscape mode, but once selected a song, it doesn't allow to set to a certain point of its timeline, and no lyrics here too.

....i was looking for some cydia tweak, then i've found this app.

does anybody knows it?

i think it should be great on our devices, it's similar to iphone's music app,  its design is great, and funtionality, too, but has a magnificient landscape mode....with a few correction it could be the final solution for those of us who likes to get song lyrics in real time, syncronized with music, plus album covers and song's timeline...

i want to be clear, i'm not on business with them, plus everybody can try it on itunes for free, but i want you to know i'll write them, to say to send this app to the appradio developer website, and make it AppMode compatible.

to mike....i'm not a coder, a programmer or whatever, the only code a wrote in my life was on  a commodore64 when i was teen  ....IF ><= THEN GOTO GOSUB INPUT DATA, it was funny! but i realized that this field changes so fast and never stops.... life took me elsewhere, so i quitted but i'm still curious. i follow you on twitter and it seems the solution is not so far anymore.

i will be interested on how .........(well maybe it's to early to say) but you know what i mean, so if you could spend two lines more to explain the trick, i will appreciate. you're a big talent and we are all waiting to see your work.

i'm too late(i'm on 6.1.2) i can install appradio extension but it works only on 5.1.1 and appradio 1.8.2

i'm using Activator to avoid the annoying procedure to start "appradio app" manually as soon as i plug the phone to the appradio (needless to say the "appradio app" starts automatically when i plug the phone to the battery charger,    , but Activator can't do better at the moment, and it is the best solution that i've found).

i still haven't found a working solution to self-quit the "appradio app" when unplugged.

which solution did you take? are you using a different tweak?

After making a phone call with bt engaged and paired,(only for outbound call) and iphone connected to the unit, the ios asks me again to allow the appradio app to communicate with the phone.....Sure! this is obvious!

did you found a tweak to disable the ios to ask for this again and again every time that the "appradio app" knocks to it?

don't even have Navigation or Bluetooth. It's mainly for OEM's to try
and build out from there. Sorry.

i'm here to write my wish list for your next (if there will ever be another....) firmware upgrade for my sph-da02.

i know this is not your official channel, but....have you got one? how do you listen to your customers?

i remind you that the actual version is 4.16 and dates back to 23/07/2012!!!! the most of your customers thinks you abandoned the project.... but I do behave, I'm a good guy 

i installed the unit 2 weeks ago, it has a great potential, but i noticed that there's a lot of job for your coders to do, yet. take this wish list as good hints list:

1) why the hell once we enter into appmode the radio turns to off? this is so bad!

my wish is to keep the radio playing all the time entering into appmode (appradio is a radio, first!) and to let me turn it off only when i need.(that is to say just before entering in "some" app, i will make the choice, to avoid the sound to overlaps).

i don't want to double hit "home button", then the x cross on "radio" to let it play again.....i'm driving!!! it has to be easy!

2) once in appmode, i need the chance to change radio station without leaving appmode

3) once in appmode, i need to set the equalizer, the fading while listening to radio or my iphone music library 

4) receiving an incoming call via bt, the system kicks me out of appmode.....soooooo bad....if my friend wants to give me directions on how to join him, how am i supposed to reach him if i can't see the map?

5)it will be very nice to listen to music while talking to the microphone(music fading a bit of course)

6)once connected via bt, during a phone call, i noticed a echo.

i think it's better to give the exclusive use to the appradio microphone and loudspeaker to avoid echoes.

i'm not going to turn bt "on" on my iphone to talk via iphone in the "conventional way". if i turn bt on, it means i only want to talk and listen to a phone call via bt, exclusively. 

7)why should i tap the iphone screen, when plugged....i just plugged it, it means i need to be connected to the radio, what do you need more? make it simple, pioneer! apple wins because of its friendly user interface, plus you want me to tap " disconnect"....what a mess if during a phone call the echo starts to whistle and i have to run unplugging it without "disconnecting"....
