  1. Hi!

There is a new Fw out for F60 (the European version of NEX8000. The info says only "Improve Apple CarPlay connectivity". Does anyone know more?
Can I install the upgrade without loosing my maps and the remove_pl_and_smartphone_OK_screen hacks?

  2. Can find TomTom 2017.Q1, iGo R3 TomTom 2017_Q1 (TeleAtlas) and  iGo R3 full HERE (Navteq) 2017.Q1,and  Europe for all. Which is the best choice (if all of them works on Avic-F60DAB, which they seems to do). Best means most detailed, accurate routing etc.

  3. Sorry, but first rule is never never ever use Copy device. It is written soo many times in this thread so you should not have had a chance to miss it, even if your native language is not english (mine i swedish btw). You have copied the content of your USB to your AVIC, overwritten everything that was on the internal SD.

You can fix this problem with a copy of the internal SD card from another F77. I can sadly not help you, but ask the forum for a copy and read this thread thoroughly  and you will be able to restore your bricked unit. Good luck!

    hello everybody !!

    i need your help !!

i have a AVICF77. i crack him to change my gps cards with your méthod. it's ok.

but i wanted to copy the cards on my usbkey. i turn on the unit on the usbkey, on testmod ,i choise copy device, when the copy finished ,the unit turn on and It shows me on the screen "error logiciel".

i can't open the windows to inside an sdcard....

i watch if the copy is on the key usb but there is only crack folder.

what is the problem ?  who can help me?

    i,m french, excuse my english..

  4. I'm having a great deal of difficulty removing the map warning screen.  I keep getting read-only filesystem warnings.  What I've noticed is that the content of build.prop on /system actually becomes 0 in size immediately after the operation, even though it says it's read-only.  What's going on here?

I pretty much piggybacked off the iGo lib fix that was just recently released in this thread.  I assume that one works fine.

Below is the content of my Copy_Script.sh.  If anyone could explain what I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate it.

    #!/system/bin/sh

    ls -al /system >/mnt/udisk/system.before.txt
    cat /system/build.prop >/mnt/udisk/build.before.prop

    mount -o remount,rw /system

    # upload modified build.prop
    cat /mnt/udisk/build.prop >/system/build.prop

    # alternative upload, which yields the same unfortunate result
    #cp -f /mnt/udisk/build.prop /system/build.prop
    #chown root:root /system/build.prop
    #chmod 644 /system/build.prop

    ls -al /system >/mnt/udisk/system.after1.txt
    cat /system/build.prop >/mnt/udisk/build.after1.prop

    sync

    ls -al /system >/mnt/udisk/system.after2.txt
    cat /system/build.prop >/mnt/udisk/build.after2.prop

    reboot

EDIT: Actually, the original script (from iGO) is failing too.  Saw the same error in output.txt about not being able to chmod libigo_jni.so, which is also under /system.  What's the recourse here?  Why doesn't the mount command take care of this?

I also really would like to get rid of the annoying warning screen, both for the maps and CarPlay. Did you (or anyone else) find how to get it to work? /Peta

  5. sys.pioneer.misc.navi_pl_cation=sys.pioneer.navi_pl_on

    Add to build.prop file.

This is for older generation of nex devices (F60/F960/x000NEX).

System is checking this android property before showing this navigation caution OK screen, so setting this property to "already shown" state disables screen at all.

Excuse a noob question, can the build.prop file be overwritten, after copying and changing it or how is it done?

  6.

    TTS available in languages.
You can add any language from the list

    russian
english - 2 version EU and US
french - 2 version EU and US
spanish - 2 version EU and US
    dutch
    danish
    german
    italian
    polish
    portuguese
    turkish

Swedish seems not to be available. Is there any other Swedish TTS file that can be used (iGO)? Or possible to make one?

  7. What kind of iPod are we talking about? An iPod touch that you're gonna pair to your phone for data? Or a simple Ipod classic that you want to play music from?

If it's the second answer you're in luck. Just plug the iPod and the iPhone into the different USB ports and set the car to USB iPhone mode.

The first mode I doubt will work. This one won't be known until Carplay actually launches.

I've got a Classic. Good do know that it is possible to get this combo to work. Thanks for all answers.

How about the cable to iPod, wich will work?

  8. Is it possible to connect an iPhone 5 via CarPlay and also having an iPod via AppRadio mode on a NEX 8000?

If I sorted things out right, the iPhone 5 needs only a lightning to USB cable, but what about iPod?

Getting different answers, could it be CA-IW.201s or CD-IU201S (for audio, video and AppRadio)?
