  1. Its over $100 less with the accessories, but that's a moot point, because you're right, $60 or $100 hardly counts as money. Sorry, I should have realized you were baller status because you drive an Acura...lol. I hope you didn't negotiate with the dealer either, because as we have all learned here, its totally not worth the time.

  2. $745 is what I get the d3's for, hope this helps someone negotiate

the price i get it for cant be the cheapest.... theres no way I'm that good

did my post go unseen or something? why would people be paying soooo much knowing what I get them for with the same warranty?

100$ is worth the headache? wow, and i thought i was anal. even $200 would be kinda a pain, to sit through waiting for auction to end, or buy it now, or whatever. not to mention the scams on ebay anyways.

Stop being a hater. Its not your money or your time, so we don't need to repeatedly hear your opinion on it. What are you so bitter about anyway? Is it that with a little work, people can get their AVIC-D3 for less than you claim you can get it for? You act like you're the absolute authority on price when it comes to buying anything, and now that there's a better deal, all you want to do is crap all over this thread.

I got my AVIC-D3 for $60 less than what you claim you can get it for. This is from an authorized dealer with a Pioneer Ipod adapter, wire harness and antenna adapter. You better add another $40 to your "cost" for those extras, so basically, I'm paying at least $100 less than you for the same items. $100 is $100. You may not think its worth it, but its deals like these that allowed me to purchase multiple Xbox360s, sell some, and keep one for "free". Why wouldn't I take a free Xbox360 for no more than an hour or two of work? If you really don't think $200, or even $100 is worth saving, then you clearly don't belong in these forums. Why don't you just pay retail and pay Good Guys to install it for you? No one is doubting your contribution, but like I said, just cuz you don't think its worth it, don't knock others for trying to get the best deal possible.

  3. Uh, lots of shops are offering them for $800-$850, and you don't have to buy $100s of dollars of other stuff to get that price like Crapfield. I don't know why people still use them, really. If you want to pay retail, just go to BB or CC.

Just pick one up from MisFit or any other local who gets them for invoice. As I understand it, retailer invoice on this unit is as low as $700. I got mine for $800 shipped, and that's not even the best price out there now. Read some of the 'best price' threads that already exist.

To all those Crutchfield haters who saved $50 and bought it from an non-authorized Pioneer dealer, and then went on to flame Crutchfield all over this forum, try to beat this deal. AVIC-D3 AND free backup camera ($250) with the backing of an Authorized Dealer. Even if you decide not to keep the backup camera, that's $170 easy on fleebay. That brings the cost of my AVIC-D3 (with free antenna adaptor and wiring harness) down to $680 shipped. Pretty tough to beat...

  4. Thanks for the heads-up, OP. Just chatted with a Crutchfield CSR online and got the free backup camera shipped out. Order confirmation was sent to me while I was still in the chat session. Awesome service!

  5. show me where. i don't see it on the pioneer website.

IF it does (big if) make sure you aren't using q-pel or bframes, those are usually killers for compatibility. i know they won't work in an avox unit.

    Ain't that hard to google:

I used the 15% coupon and $20 off referral code, and total came out to be 1,100

I'm planning to have this installed at some local store. Anyone knows how much will Tweeter, or best buy charge me?

Just curious. How did you use both the code for 15% off AND the referral for $20? Did you actually have to speak with an advisor to add the referral discount or did you use the website?

PS: Any more referral codes available?

The order I placed on Friday just shipped. Crutchfield just e-mailed me the UPS tracking number. If anyone else is looking to order and needs a $20 code, you can go ahead and use this one. No one has used it yet. Should stack fine with the 15% off code.
