Any ideas? BUMP

I have the AVIC-850bt.  I have found the white background makes it somewhat difficult to read when the sun is glaring in the afternoon, more so than were the unit to use a darker backgroun.

I still experieince it on my iPhone 5s as well, very frustrating... Let me know if anyone finds a solution Thanks!

I typically observe this issue when streaming audiobooks from the audible app from my iPhone5, it seems very random when this will occur. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed that the map does not have a lot of contrast? When I am driving I find it hard to read the street names or see much of the land/cityscape because the colors used on the map are so light in color, is there any way to darken these or turn on a 'night mode' like occurs on garmin units at night time, something with a higher contrast? Thanks!

I just had an Avic x850bt installed and I have noticed that every now and again while I am driving the bluetooth will cut out and come back, sometimes doing this a couple of times like a 'flickering' effect, Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this? I never had this issue with my AVH-X2500BT. Thanks in advance!
