So I'm replacing the F900BT in my 2008 Ford Escape with an AppRadio2 SPH-DA100. I ordered a refurb from Cowboom only to find out that the wiring harness and microphone are missing. Do I need to order a new harness, or will the exisiting one work? Will my old microphone work, or do I need to remove it and install the one that ships with the AppRadio? Any help is appreciated!

I have read a lot but I am still doubting between the two versions Appradio. I will do the installation in a new Nissan Micra with an iPhone 4 already jailbreaked. I want to use the Appradio to listen my music and podcast. I need a good handsfree set and occasionally will need GPS capability. I don't want to loose the steering wheel remote functionality and plan to install a backup camera. Which backup camera will fit with the Appradio? Do I need to buy the Pioneer retail accesory? For the wheel steering interface, do I need a special cable set? Â I see this one http://www.emssiweb.co

Hi all! I bought an appradio 2 in the USA recently and had it installed in my car in The Netherlands. The unit works great (except of course for some minor tweaks). However, the European FM frequencies differ from the US frequencies. I wonder if there is a possibility to address this problem by installing "European" Pioneer software or firmware. If this is not possible, I can try to create a "workaround" by using internet radio... Greetings, Martijn

Hi Everyone. I am in an area with good GPS reception, and I've tried my GPS Antenna in several different positions, and it still says Poor GPS signal and can't detect where I am on google maps or any other apps. Any thoughts on this annoying problem? What should I do? I'm new to the AppRadio, but working out the kinks and starting to like it more and more.

Hey guys, from what I have been able to find online there this is a common problem. When I give the appradio power it starts to load and gets stuck on the pioneer boot logo, I have tried putting the new update (2.45) on an sd card but same thing keeps happening. I called pioneer and they will not honor the warranty sicne i did not buy it from an authorized dealer. Is there any tips on how I can get the system to load.

I did a short search and couldn't find anything so I was wondering if the garmin GPS apps will work with the Appradio at all? I know the new Kenwood HUs support this feature as long as you buy the "Vehilce Display Integration" app upgrade but I don't want to spend the $100 total to find out...

Thanks to carver's great post, we can now change the AppRadio's main wallpaper. I originally posted my first attempt at creating custom wallpaper in caver's thread, but decided to create this new thread dedicated to custom wallpapers. I've attached 4 files. The first two are the default AppRadiowallpapers. They are in .bmp format. I used those files as templates to create my custom wallpapers. You will need to create/edit the wallpapers with some sort of photo editing software and save them as 24-bit bmp files using the exact same dimensions and filenames as the original wallpaper files (N
