Car: '03 Audi A4 with Bose, steering wheel controls. Radio: Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. I decided to add on the steering wheel controls, so purchased the PAC SWI-PS and SWI-CAN modules that are recommended for this purpose. I installed the modules, wired everything up properly, and eventually got it programmed. I had a HELL of a time getting it programmed properly. It would sporadically recognize the steering wheel inputs during program, sometimes registering them, sometimes not. I have the standard Audi Concert CD player but want to remove it and put in my AVIC F900bt. I already understand I need to purchase the double-DIN cage and facia surround, and I already have acquired a standard autoleads Audi-ISO cable that I'm hoping will apply. Anyone got a fitting procedure? Is there something you can do to ensure the Pioneer displays information on the driver's instrument panel like the factory unit already does (track number / radio station name etc.)?

This weekend I will mostly be... moving my AVIC into my new car I've just bought an "Audi A3, A4, TT Steering Wheel Stalk Control Interface Adaptor Lead" and just wanted to check what level of functionality I should have with it? I've connected the Fakra block, interface block and my existing Pioneer patch lead, but haven't connected in any of the loose bullet connectors - what are they for? As background, the car has a multi function steering wheel and built-in bluetooth. I've removed the factory fitted Concert III head unit and replaced it with the F700BT. I want to use the Audi Blu
