  1. Hi everyone, The more I've read here the more confused I've gotten. I have an X710BT and the only thing I want to do is use the software bypass to get rid of the parking brake restriction. In other words, I want to be able and want passengers to be able to type an address or change the light color while driving. I guess the restriction's there for "safety," but you can scroll through music and audio settings to your heart's content yet can't even turn the screen completely off if you're driving. At any rate, I have the 3.020100 firmware. I have an 8gb SD card the system recognizes.
  2. In one word: testmode, or lack thereof of a truly functional testmode in the x930bt. In my old x910bt, and using the collective genius of the people in this forum, I was able to do the following to my old x910bt: 1) hack it and play any video content any time 2) completely eliminate any and all 'disclaimer' and 'driver warning' screens - yes, I get it, it's dangerous 3) put a mute navi voice button on the map 4) put an instant route to home button on the map 5) turn the arrow into a pic of my car 6) steering wheel controls - i know, nothing to do w/ testmode but so nice Sure,
  3. Hey everyone, so I've searched around the forums and read a bunch of posts before succumbing to writing one myself. I have a Pioneer F90bt that I've had for about 2 years. I have no mods or hacks to it, and about 2 months ago it randomly started rebooting itself constantly over 20 mph. I tried the update to 2.008, it updated successfully but it didn't help the rebooting issue. I downloaded the testmode files and the backup files onto 2 separate SD cards I inserted the sd card with the testmode files and it wouldn't go into testmode.
