MONSTERMATT Posted December 30, 2007 Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 what do i need to install the z2 , i want to- keep onstar and evrything else stock door chimes etc., i already have sirius running to the stock head unit, with a kenwood soundgate and i wanna continue to run sirius, i want to have the ability to run the dvd whild driving the truck, (im assuming there is a bypass) the truck is an 05 hummer h2 , i know best buy told me i need a "installation kit" could i get some part numbers so i can "shop" this stuff -- interlock bypass -- sirius capabilities -- oh and what about steering wheel controls??? rrmccabe Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 Well you need three things for hookup besides the mount kit. The main interface like PAC OS2 bose. The PAC CM1 chimes unit and also a steering wheel interface. I think the PAC SWI-PS like I used on my 06 GM should work. There is a two wire bypass you can do to bypass it. Depending on what month build Z2 you have, you might have to do a software update. As far as sirius, you just need to buy the Pioneer Sirius receiver. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
