K Spec
This is a total noob question but, if I were to create some custom background images, what is the correct resolution? I downloaded a background image from the Pioneer site directly & and it was 1000x480 (72 dpi). But I've also seen the number 500x240 thrown about too. Which one would be ideal? I don't want to have a stretched or squashed image. What would be the advantage of the 500x240 resolution when Pioneer offered the higher res as a download? Also, is there a border around the image that is blocked by the screen dimensions or is the image complete from edge to edge? Thanx in advance! P.S. are the resolutions and dimensions the same for D1 - D3?
Passat 05
You can use either the 1000 x 480 or 500 x 240. Both work fine. The larger image gives you more pixels to work with and you can always resize to 500 x 240 before saving if you like to make it a smaller file.
