N3 - AT&T Tilt - Bluetooth problems...

Recommended Posts

I have the AT&T Tilt and a motorola H800 stereo input/output device currently streaming my music through the N3... I bought the 200 model bluetooth Pioneer hoping to gain hands free control and straight digital bluetooth audio, instead of analog to digital and such ...

The N3 recoginzes the BT200 as an ext-1 device - and basically has NO functionality at all - while I don't mind this, it also won't either A) stay paired with my phone or B) refuses to transfer sound.

The phone will pair - music will start playing in BT Audio mode if I'm lucky, but if I get a call or use my phone, it stops the BT Audio and won't reconnect unless I delete the pair and repair.

Also when I try to pair my phone up - even if it is already paired up - it prompts me for the blasated PIN number... GRRRR...

Is there an easier way to make this piece of junk work, or am I going to have to send it back? I've never been more frustrated with bluetooth in all my life - it's usually quite easy.

The C.Open mode won't turn off, the Reg mode won't turn on or pretend to find my phone - and if I ever attempt to pair it with hands free it freaks out and either shuts off, or just unpairs with my phone after about 40 seconds.

Anyone else having any problems (or luck) with this combination??

Thanks in advance!
