Razorback_Fan
OK I've been reading up on previous post and I believe my ribbon cable has broke and needs replacing. However since i'm short on cash at the moment I was wondering if there is a way to pull the screen out manually without tearing up anything? I plan on going on pretty good drive next week and could really use the nav screen. Any ideas?
cntrylvr79
yeah don't do it. You'll fuck up a LOT more than just the ribbon cable.
Razorback_Fan
I was afraid that would be the case. How hard is it to remove the unit from the dash so I can send it in for repair?
cntrylvr79
depends on the car
Razorback_Fan
Ok so this doesn't have a case that it slids into, where you can simply release it from the case and slid the unit out? It is currently installed in a 99 jeep cherokee.
