ANTP228 Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY AVIC-D1 UNIT, DURING NAVIGATION THE UNIT WILL BLANK THE SCREEN AND THEN REBOOT LIKE WHEN YOU FIRST START THE CAR, ANY ONE HEARD OF A PROBLEM LIKE THIS? I CONTACTED PIONEER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP THAT E MAILED ME SAID TO CALL SO THAT I CAN SEND IT IN, I CALLED AND A WOMAN TOLD ME THAT THESE UNITS THEY DO NOT REPAIR, AND THAT I NEED TO BRING IT BACK TO WHERE I BOUGHT IT FROM FOR AN EXCHANGE. HAS ANY ONE EVER SENT THEIR UNIT IN FOR REPAIR? PLEASE SHARE ANY INFO YOU MAY HAVE ON EITHER SITUATION, THANKS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
ItsStopher Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 I would check the power and ground wires first, does it do it when you are parked or when you hit a bump? Try running a temp 12v wire to see if this solves your problem. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
