z71_sierra_10
i just picked up a PAC SWI-PS from ebay for 45 bucks, the next thing is should i get a PAC os-bose or a Metra GMOS-04. what are the pros and cons of each. thanks. also how hard is it to install the D3 into my 2005 GMC. i really dont want to pay 300+ for install, but then again i dont want to jack up my install doing it myself. thanks
MisFit
the metra GMOS has tons of issues. i havent seen any problems with the pac piece yet
numberone
I have the pac pieces. the best thing about the pac piece is that the steering wheel control plugs into the pac piece. A much easier and cleaner install. Also the pac piece will give the vss wire and all the other wires you will need.
cntrylvr79
The metra pieces also give reverse, vss, and parking brake leads at the radio. FYI only the chrysler interface has the plug for the steering wheel controls. The GM PAC and metra harnesses don't have the ability to plug in the steering controls. The steering interface is wired at the column harness not the radio harness.
