HHRSS Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 Got a problem with a avic d3. I have a 2006 HHR that I installed an avic d3 with a gmos-lan-04 with it. And I have double checked and that is the correct module for the car. Anyway, everything works awesome in the car, except for one thing, and I can't figure it out. When the auto headlamps come on at night, the unit dims down just like its suppose to. Problem is, when I turn the highbeams on, the unit goes back into day mode and is really bright. Turn the lights back to lowbeam and it goes right back to nightmode like its suppose to. Anybody have any ideas what the problem might be? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cntrylvr79 Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 it's an imperfection in the way the interface was programmed. not much you can do short of running the illumnination wire of the avic to the parking light wire in the vehicle.
