bodyguard295
I'm installing a new Pioneer AVIC-Z2 in my 2007 Fusion SEL and I need to find the Vehicle Speed Sensor. Does anyone know where I can find it? Any Pictures? I heard that it could be found in the factory radio harness because it has the adaptive volume control? I just don't know what color wire to look for or anyother location it may be. Please help!
MisFit
ther is no speed sense on the fusion. the radio gets its speed signal through data, so you cant use that either
bodyguard295
Well there has to be one somewhere! Do I hook up the VSS wire from the deck to???
MisFit
no, there doesnt. a lot of newer cars now use data, and there is no usable speed sense wire to tap into. you can either use it without it, which should be fine, or you can use a speed pulse generator.
