nwashburn Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 After reading several sites, I thought that the HY05B was the correct one for the premium system but on the back of the package it clearly states that it is not for use on the factory amplified systems. Should I have gotten the FD23B or is there some other alternative. Also, I was wondering if anyone has successfully reused the factory XM antenna on a Sonata in lieu of the GEXP10XMT antenna. Possibly with an adapter? Haven't opened anything up yet in the car to see but was hoping to have one less thing stuck on the roof. Getting ready to install D3, BT,XMw/traffic,Boyo Rear Camera and would appreciate any advice anyone is willing to offer from their prior installs.
