mjwaterma Posted March 18, 2008 Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 A couple weeks ago I took out my Z1 (unhooked all the wires) to try to fix some wiring issues. Since I have put the unit back I have had issues with the VSS connection, which then effects how the GPS works. The main issue is that the VSS will have a signal for 10-20 minutes when I start the car and then loose the signal, or sometimes I have no signal from the minute I start the car. Before I took the Z1 out, I had no issues with the VSS, and I have driven over 500 miles and a couple of times for over an hour. So is this an indication that the VSS wire is just loose, do I need to do a reset, or could something else be the culprit? Thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I think one of the connections was a little loose, so I tightened that one up. I also did a reset of the 3D learning. All seems to be working now. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
