1badsol Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 hey guys i need some help i have the n1 headunit n2 brain and just put a n3 disc in my unit and now it wont let me play dvds while i drive anyway i can get around this. before i put this n3 disc in i never had problems with dvds now i have no dvd until i stop on the street Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Fracken21 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 The original n1 disc's didn't require any special bypass, they just sensed if the parking brake was on and that's it. The newer ones (n2 & n3) actually use the gps to tell if the car is moving. So the only way to bypass an n1 with upgraded software is to open the unit up and solder to extremely small points together. Then it will be good to go. but it's extremely risky.
